Summary: Michael Crichton on Speed
Review: Stormbringer is written in a style that seems to float the reader pleasantly from page to page. Don't let your guard down though. Something will definitely jump out and pounce on you. Like the big, bad and nasty creature lurking in this story. William Seagroves has created a world of fast-paced action and gripping narration that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the imaginative opening to the equally impressive end.
Other authors of adult fiction should sit up and take notice. William Seagroves knows how to tell a story, but he also knows how to tell a story WELL. To often I've been lured in with back cover copy that's more exciting that the actual story. Where the others fail, Mr. Seagroves comes through and delivers the goods.
Not only do the characters live and breathe, but the animals in this story actually think. I've never read anything where you can get inside an animal's head and hear what they're thinking.
I strongly recommend this novel if you're tired of the same old same old. I can safely say that you won't put this book down until the last word is read.

Summary: Next Generation Author
Review: This novel is written like its title with a storm blowing through the pages into ever elevating drama. There are only a few moments where you are able to catch your breath, but the next gusting wind of the storm will send you flying forward again with the force of a white squall. Although the drama is prevalent throughout the book, the author has taken the time to insert his very own brand of interesting and unique humor that will definitely bring a guffaw or two from the reader. Each episode in the book builds the drama and sets up the next one seamlessly. The reader isn't left wondering what happened here or there and everything is clearly laid out with skill and fresh style. What I was most impressed with was the way everything tied together at the end with each of the players converging on one small corner of the globe for the final showdown. William Seagroves brings a new voice to writing that will speak to a new generation of readers as well as the old guard that have been turned off by recycled storylines of other authors. I impatiently await Mr. Seagroves' next novel and hope he will not keep us waiting for very long.
