Rating: Summary: Studying For the SATs Turns Fatal Review: For eight Maryland high school juniors (Kelly Peterson, Brian Lopez, Paula Schultz, Jeff Mitchell, Chris Baxter, Nathan Grant, Isabel Smith, and Angel Manson), spending their Thanksgiving vacation cramming for the SATs isn't their idea of fun. And neither is camping out with the strict Mr. Porter in a rustic, secluded cabin near Deep Creek Lake, a place haunted by an old Indian legend. But for most of these students, acing their SATs is crucial for their futures. However, one person has a far more sinister plan for this group--one that results in the mysterious drowning of Brian and the disappearance of their teacher. Is the killer lurking somewhere in the woods, waiting for his/her next victim--or is it someone they all know and suspect: Chris, the steroid-addicted hothead; Angel, the Marilyn Manson ...; Isabel, the new girl who carries a hunting knife; Nathan, the creep who will do anything for money, possibly even kill--or could it be someone even closer to Brian? "Crash Course" was the first book I ever read by Nicole Davidson and is still my favorite. If you like teen thrillers, then you'll more than likely enjoy this one as much as I did. Highly recommended. Ages 12+
Rating: Summary: Synopsis of "Crash Course" Review: In this story, 8 High School Teens sign up for an intense SAT Crash Course prep over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Every turn something happened inculding out on Deep Creek Lake, where the students are in a cabin for the Holiday. When their teacher goes to return with the police and never returns, it's up to the students to stay away from this crazed killer. I thought this was a very cool book and is surly for people who like the mystery/horror/drama type stuff combined in a little bit of everything.
Rating: Summary: katie's thoughts Review: It was a great book, that's all that needs to be said. It was interesting all the way through. Hooked on the beggining, suspencefull middle, and a very explanitory ending. Like I said it's a great book, and that's all that needs to be said!
