Summary: Simply the best e-book I have ever read!
Review: "Remnants of the Second Age" is a strange book: The characters are not always likable - and they don't seem to like each other too much; focus changes from one character to another for chapters at a time, and; just when you think it's about to get typical of the Fantasy genre, it doesn't.

One gets the feeling that the book wasn't written to provide a familiar, comfortable read, but to offer something new and different in a genre that's become crowded with stereotypes.

Mr Wilkinson includes hints of mythology from many cultures and times, and blends these, together with his own concepts, into a rich world of magic, gods, people and other beings.

I can't wait for book 2, and desperately hope that the series will be at least a trilogy!
