Summary: Great novel but unresolved ending
Review: Each page of this novel is a page-turner! Hutson is does an amazing job with keeping the reader interested. When i read the last chapter i seriously thought there was another chapter. All that happens in the end is that everything is revealed. Yet, the problem isn't resolved. So many things are left opened. I like definite endings and this one definetly is open to the imagination. Overall though, it was a suspensful book

Summary: Stolen Angles?
Review: If you love Sean Hutson, you'll love this. If you've read plenty of Sean Hutson, you'll be used to his writting style and this one my make you grow tired of it. As usual Sean takes us on several journeys that, chapter by chapter, slowly get told, all to meet up at the end. Just as one gets suspencefull he leaves you dying to get past the next chapter to pick it back up. The only trouble is once you've got back to it you find, sometimes, it was not worth the wait. If you do this to many times when storytelling the reader doesn't believe you next time. All in all I enjoyed the book because of it's plot lines and the way Sean tells a story, but the end really does seem like it was written quickly so Sean could make it to a 2:30 kick-off at Anfield.

Summary: A good story, but a poorly rushed ending
Review: Shaun Hutson certainly knows how to keep the reader glued to the pages, and this book certainly has that to its credit, but although the twist at the end was good, it was all crammed in to the last few pages.

There are, as usual, some grizzly deaths, but the graphic descriptions of broken bones etc. that is usual in a Hutson novel seems to be toned down in this book. It is still there, but it was more for neccesity than for effect. I found that to be quite refreshing, as it proves Shaun can still keep the reader interested in a book without needing to shoot someone in the kneecaps ever other chapter.

A shame about the rushed ending, but all in all it's ok.
