Summary: It's ok,
Review: I bought this book during my teenage vampire stage, when I bought any book about vampires. It's not the best book I've ever read. There are several grammatical errors throughout the book, and cliches everywhere. There are a few really good descriptive phrases. I still have this book, and I read it from time to time, even though I cringe anew at some of the glaring errors. END

Summary: it's like Ed Wood wrote a vampire novel
Review: While this is not the worst vampire novel I have ever read (there can only be one "Night Blood"), this is amongst them. However, unlike many bad novels, this one is actually somewhat readable due to the sheer INEPTNESS. Grammatical errors. Knowledge of vampire lore gleaned only from half-remembered midnight movies. A man in a turban who has a spiritual connection to flatulence(I couldn't make this stuff up); a funny black man as a partner; and all of this wrapped up in bargain basement "Nick Knight" theatrics (though, to be fair, this book came out before the TV show - but well after the movie).

Yep, abysmal. And there is a sequel!
