Rating: Summary: I was wrong! Review: I didn't think this was going to be my kind of book. Man, was I wrong. I couldn't put it down no matter how hard I tried. I really loved it. Don't think there's anything else quite like this one. Read it! You won't be sorry. Not for the squimish, or for kids.
Rating: Summary: Judge for Yourself Review: I only know what keeps me turning pages. This is the one. I wasn't sure about the context...but as soon as I read the first few pages, I was hooked. To me, this is the most important part of any book. I found I couldn't stop turning the pages, and my wife got mad....until she finally read it. I had no contact with her for three days!
Rating: Summary: Wishful Thinking Review: I really loved this story. It's powerful and disturbing at the same time. Great characters, and they get you right where you live. You have no choice to feel their honesty here. If you're truthful to yourself, these characters will be familiar. If you're not, you lose. Nothing fake about this book. Brutal and overwhelming.
Rating: Summary: Not the same old story.... Review: It's been a long time since I've read a mixture of horror, suspense, mystery, and thriller, all in one book. Had me turning pages till the end. Then, all I wanted was more. Hope Laffer does more and often! I'd say Adults only, and a great read!
Rating: Summary: Controversy at it's Best! Review: It's been a long time since I've read such an original story. This one could make the grade A list for controversy. Both sides get blasted, and both sides get cheered. How can this happen in just one book? Be prepared to fight within yourself when you read this one. I can't wait to see what Laffer comes up with next. This one's good enough to read more than once.
Rating: Summary: A roller coaster ride in character study Review: Jax Laffer's Another Side of Evil keeps the reader on the edge of their seat from start to finish. This reader is intimately familiar with the setting of the story, which made for spine-tingling moments as the action takes place just blocks away from my home. I double-bolted the locks and only read this book during daylight hours. Joe Green, a man dealing with his inner deamons, finds the answer to his prayers, while destroying the lives of others. Joe is constantly struggling between the man he needs to be and the man he actually is. I loved him and loathed him in the same breath. The ending is so spellbinding that I can't wait for the sequel!

Rating: Summary: Pass on this one, folks. Review: Jax Laffer's ANOTHER SIDE OF EVIL takes you on a gut-wrenching emotional rollercoaster. My sympathies kept shifting from the victim to the attacker. It was hard not to see that the evil Joe Green had a heart. The story must continue! It just has to!
Rating: Summary: Not the same old story.... Review: This certainly was not what I expected! It's not the same story you always here. This one has originality and depth. If you read this one you won't forget it. Makes you think and feel for all the characters and keep turning pages. Also gives you hope that people can start their lives over for the better, one way or another. It's that "other" that makes you want to keep reading! Adult reading--but only if you dare to be honest with yourself.
Rating: Summary: Extreme reality check Review: Wow, This book Rocked ! ......If you think you know someone read the book then think again. From beginging to end it pulls you in and makes you question who you really know. The story had me from the start and it still does.I loved it. When I finnished it I kept turning the pages ...I didn't want it to end. Hoping for a sequel!
