Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A book so great, it should become a movie!
Review: Picked this book up because of the cool title. Not your typical vampire story. Far from being Gothic, the story actually revolves around providing a window into the real-life struggles of a man, Martin, who happens to be a vampire falling for a woman, Julie, who is not. Their relationship is tested by the classic fight against evil in the form of vampires who are not bound by Martin's moral code.

The author also gives the reader pleasurable glimpses into how other moral vampires (and not vampires) have managed to carve out a "normal" life for themselves despite the the disease which forces them to embarace the mystery of the night while shunning the warmth of the day.

Great read. Maybe this one will end up on the screen because of all the action.
