Summary: vivid and surprising
Review: A great book!!!!!!!!!! It makes you feel many different emotions along with the characters. It's difficult to put this book down once you've started reading it. Although you think you have an idea of where it's leading, it takes you on a different road than you ever suspected.

Summary: Wow
Review: I challenge the reader from Gastonia, NC to read the entire book. There is no way you can rate an entire 300+ page book on the first 80 pages. I also had a hard time with the first few sections but after that the book takes a monumental leap. I strongly believe that Edison McDaniels is better than Robin Cook and on par with Stephen King and Dean Koontz. The ending to this great book is absolutely spectacular. This writer definetly has a very bright future.

Summary: Scary!
Review: I found this book to have a lot of twists and turns in the plot, and it was a very scary read. The writing prose is excellent and the character development is terrific. It leads you down unsuspecting paths and keeps you interested. You definitely want to know what happens to the doctor in the end. It has a surprising ending as well. Definitely a thriller!

Summary: Rebuttal -- This book rocks!
Review: This was one of the best books I have read in a while. I am an avid reader of Stephen King books and I found this one to be right on line with his work. I think the author did a wonderful job with the writing of this book. He shure knows how to keep your interest. The Burden was very hard for me to put down. I think that you would really enjoy this book and should give the author a look.
