Rating: Summary: Good work Review: I enjoy watching the original 'Twilight Zone' and when I saw this book which was edited by Carol Serling, I wanted to see if she had the sense of what makes a good TZ story as her late husband did. Overall, I believe she did a good job. Many of the stories contained in this book are enjoyable and often contain the "twist" endings needed in the TZ tradition. I would recommend this book to any Twilight Zone fan who enjoys stories that take us to that other dimension of fantasy. It beats watching the new Twilight Zone anytime.
Rating: Summary: TWILIGHT ZONE WANNA BEES Review: WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PERHAPS ONE STORY, THIS IS THE POOREST EXCUSE OF A TWILIGHT ZONE BOOK I HAVE EVER READ! THE MARJORITY OF THE STOREIES APPEARED TO BE ONES THAT ROD SERLING, HIMSELF, HAD REJECTED! CAROL SERLING APPEARS TO HAVE DONE A LOUSY JOB OF EDITING, ACCORDING TO ALL THE "F" WORDS IN ALOT OF THE STORIES! THESE WORDS DID NOT ENHANCE THE STORY LINES (WHEN AND IF THERE ACTUALLY WAS ONE!) ROD SERLING FANS, PLEASE, PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY (UNLIKE ME) AND BUY THE TWILIGHT ZONE BOOKS BY THE KING OF SCI-FI, ROD SERLING! SUSIECOOL
Rating: Summary: More stories like the original Twilight Zones Review: You know the saying: behind every man there's a great woman? Well that's certainly true in this case!I'm a big fan of the Twilight Zone so I was a bit worried that these stories, not written by Rod Serling, would not hold up well. Thankfully, I was wrong about that! They were great! Rod Serling's widow made sure that these short stories pack a punch and follow in the same vein as the original TZ stories. A great buy IMHO.
