Rating: Summary: A Yuppie goes to his doom Review: Fans of traditional horror might not like this first novel from Dan Thomas, but I have to admit I found it a guilty pleasure. It reads more like some of Jim Thompson's crazier stuff than Stephen King. The sexual passages are pretty over-the-top, so if you are easily offended, pass this one up. But the book is well written, in a straight forward style. Some loose ends, but the book did grab me. And the horror elements are as gross-out as anything I've read. What I liked about the book most is watching the pressure build on this Yup named Royce who must pay for sending this poor girl to an early grave, all because he wanted her to have a bigger chest. Royce deserves what he gets, but still you feel sorry for him. The ending really cooks!
