Shining

Review: Stephen King is one of my favorite authors and The Shining is definitely one of his best books, a real page turner of suspense and scares in a haunted hotel in which a family, a father, mother and son are all alone for the long cold winter because the hotel is closed for the winter and the father has take a job as the winter caretaker. The father Jack Torrance is a recovering alcoholic who is trying to remain sober for his wife Wendy and their young son Danny but it turns out that the hotel is haunted by evil spirits who are slowly making Jack go insane and a danger to Danny and Wendy. This is a top-notch book and I highly recommend it!
