Summary: very well written book with excellent mental imaging
Review: Carvings was an excellent book. When I read it I was about 13-14 years of age and I LOVED it. I like horror but did not like reading at all. I could not put the book down which answers why it took me only a week or two to read the 3XX pages. I would highly reccomend this bloody, ravaging book for its enjoyment and intellegence which arises from reading any sort of literature. This book was the BOMB!!
