Rating: Summary: Literature Disguised as Horror Review: John Wooley and Ron Wolfe have written a fine novel in Death's Door. It just happens to be a horror novel, and this might keep some people from reading it who should. This is a tightly plotted, character-driven story that should be threatening a best-seller list. Filled with strong, sometimes quirky characters, Death's Door blends normal and incredible, heart wrenching and terrifying into a wonderful package that pulls the reader into their very possible, very frightening world. The people will become very real to you; you'll love some and hate some; you'll laugh and cry. If I was still teaching American Literature, I would include Death's Door. You are going to love this book.
