Rating: Summary: Thrilling!!! Review: I picked this novel up at a used bookstore, and it was in the print under it's original title, "Playmates." I haven't finished it yet, but so far, it is horrifying. The horrors that go on at the farmhouse truly are "maddening." When I finish reading this book, I am sure I will still think that it is amazing. So far, it is a suspense filled psycho-thriller. I definitely recommend it. You are pulled into the story almost immediately, and the characters have true substance and can be cared for. I have to see the movie!!
Rating: Summary: A VERY GOOD TRIP IN THE BACKWOODS ! Review: I picked this novel up at a used bookstore, and it was in the print under it's original title, "Playmates." Rating: Summary: A VERY GOOD TRIP IN THE BACKWOODS ! Review: Indeed, this novel is a very suspensful thriller. This is my third Andrew Neiderman book (I've read PIN and BRAINCHILD), and once again, the author delivers. Fast-paced, nicely crafted, with a plot that keeps you glued to the very last page, THE MADDENING (aka PLAYMATES) is definitely worth your while ! I, too, will check out the movie adaptation.--M. Rating: Summary: Great! Review: To me, this book had a slow part around the first quarter of the book. I have read two of his other books, Amnesia and The solomon Organization. Both seemed to have a small slow part. But his books are so great, you speed through the slow part so fast it's hard to notice. And it only last a couple pages at most, every other page has something so exciting you'll rip some pages cause you can't turn it fast enough. I love the way he writes. And the suspense is just like watching a movie. I can't help but read and read and read and read. I'm not much of a reading, but he got me hooked.
