Summary: A great read for anyone 12 to 90 years old. Don't miss it!
Review: " . . . DiMartino writes again in his vein of expertise: the tradition of the Victorian ghost story . . . UNIVERSITY GHOST STORY . . . locally intriguing plot . . . there are secrets and all that spine-tingling stuff" -- The Seattle Weekly

"He continues to pull audiences to the edge of their seats with the same intriguing and gripping style...bestseller for several months and a staff favorite...UNIVERSITY GHOST STORY...will undoubtedly follow its predecessor's (CHRISTMAS GHOST STORY) footsteps to the top of the University Bookstore's bestseller list..." -- Jill Tamane, Footnotes, UBS

Summary: SPOOKY CHRISTMAS STORY IN DICKENS TRADITION
Review: Having just read this book, I'm now ordering more copies as gifts for friends in Seattle. DiMartino knows, as did Dickens, that there's a special satisfaction in a ghost story with a Christmas setting. The character of Angel, a teenager distressed by her parents' dissolving marriage as much as by her own giftedness, is the sympathetic magnet that draws together a number of adult relationships. The character of John, the homeless poet, illuminates the story with his cryptic, visionary poems, which the publisher includes in their original, handwritten form. Besides being gripped by this spine-tingling plot and realistic characters, my Seattle friends should love its scenes in buildings on the Univ. of Wash. campus and in nearby neighborhoods. I remember DiMartino when he worked in the HUB (student union) branch of the Univ. of Wash. bookstore--just as does one his characters in this book.

Summary: University Ghost Story
Review: University Ghost Story undoubtedly get a 5 star rating because it is a book you can never put down, pieces of the mystery can all be put together. It was too good to be true, coming backk to Seattle, finding a place to rent two weeks before Christmasm landing a new job, there was a catch and Matthew Braddon was summoned to find out. Strange things were happening in the house of Professor Veronica Glass, floorboards creaking in the night, figures and voices of a woman were seen and heard in the night. Almost like the "Poltergeist," this book is a great read.
