Rating: Summary: Wonderful Debut Review: "In his private world, modern innovation meets timeless depravity." So says the back copy. Give you an idea of what's going to happen? Secrets. Sex. Vampires. Blood. More secrets. "Boredom induces deadly games." This is not for the weak-hearted: an exciting, intricate, and delicate foray into the seductions of the vampire, deeper than you would expect, and surprising.

Rating: Summary: Make room on your shelf for Bloodroom Review: Bloodroom is not the typical vampire novel. It is a very romantic, sexy and seductive novel. What it isn't, is Lost Boys. That was a wild, thrill after thrill romp of vampiric punks. Bloodroom is a romantic love story. It is high class. It describes a section of society that I have never experienced. People who get all dolled up every night to go to dinner. Bloodroom is more of a Moulin Rouge type of story. I liked Moulin Rouge and I liked Bloodroom.
Rating: Summary: Vampire fiction at its finest! Review: If you like vampire fiction, you'll love Bloodroom. Ms. Haviland's Julian weaves a delicious web of lies and deceit which captures not only his beautiful ballerina, Natalie, but the reader as well. Is the web strong enough to hold Natalie to him, once she's caught up in the games vampires play? There are other vampires who want to dance as well. Follow them all into the Bloodroom for an adventure you'll never forget.
Rating: Summary: Disappointing read Review: Nothing new or exciting in this one. It's a run-of-the-mill genre novel. Not very enticing or frightening. Setting detail is superfluous and distracting. The erotic scenes seem obligatory and forced. I didn't feel anything for the characters-good or bad. I'm guessing from the ending there will be a sequel. I, for one, won't be returning for Bloodroom II.
