V. C. Andrews : Flowers in the Attic, Dawn, Heaven, Ruby

Summary: Personally, I found this book a real dissapointment
Review: Dawn, I feel was a novel which consisted of very weak and poor charaters. People in the real world do not comment on their outer appearences as passionatley as Dawn. For example: I filled out my sweater better than all the other girls at school..' Not only did I find her weak and aggrivationg, she was also the ultimate priss who was highly infatuated with herself .I.e. Was it a crime to like my blonde hair and blue eyes? Let's just say this was was beyond 'like'. May I also add, comments such as 'Dull brown eyes' achieved nothing except offending many readers and proving Dawns vain conception. Dawn was highly unrealistic in the 'oh so' common way of her falling in love with her brother 'Jimmy' of fourteen years' Clap clap V.C. Andrews, very creative. Almost too creative. The book as a whole was an absoloute disaster. The plot was good to an extent, but unfortunatley the charaters in this 'oh so inspirational tale of incest' manage to make it demeaning to the low! ! est of the low. V.c. Andrews, please learn to create people that are actually capable of existince in the real world!

Review: I started reading V.C. Andrews books when I was 11 even when Mum said I was too young for all this stuff. V.c. Andrews has certainly helped me a lot with her beautiful, flowery words when I do my essays in my exam....and guess what, I scored a distinction in my exams! I owe it all to her wonderful novels!
