Summary: bright light big city masterpiece summons evil monster
Review: Celebrated short story author and san francisco native creates a work of pure horror in the possibility of maleficus. Author Jim Toland's work surprises even ardent followers of his work and yields a tale which is sure to be passed on to friends in need of a eye opening adrenalizing all night read. Only one thing, you better buy a night light for when it's over because maleficus might not leave....................

Summary: The only thing evil about this book is buying it!!
Review: I almost didn't review this book because I have difficulty giving it even a single star, or as Mr. Toland would say...one, single star alone by itself. I will save this book to read with friends after a dinner party for a good laugh.

Summary: Very Cool Cult Classic
Review: This is a real San Francisco cult classic. A page-turner all the way. Readers seem to either LOVE it or hate it. I love it. It's film noir in book form. Not for squares or religious traditionalists.
