Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. I read it in about five hours, and I loved it. I'd recommend it to anyone."

I have always enjoyed being scared. If you do, you'll enjoy this book. Alister Jak certainly made his mark with this one.

Summary: Try this one, you won't be disappointed.
Review: I thought the book to be quite juvenile, ridiculous and far-fetched. The content was very obviously stolen from numerous "teeny-bopper" fright flicks and rolled into one very immature book. The dialogue was extremely stilted and benign with gratuitous innuendo that didn't serve the plot at all. I wouldn't recommend this book and was sucked in myself by the scuba sub-plot.

Review: I've just recently finished this book. Yes, there are some things that are not "great" about it. The dialoug sometimes is forced and other times the "lovey dovey" dialoug is hurried and not fleshed out. With those being the ONLY two things I found wrong with book it's an EXCELLENT read. There are scenes in there that give me goosebumps when I REMEMBER reading them! Not to mention the delicious fear I experienced when I was reading the book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and if you like to be scared, you will too.

Review: Tainted Lake is an excellent read. The author's vivid descriptions of both scenes and character moods gives the reader
the sense of participation with the characters. Being an experienced scuba diver the author has done his homework. The multiple plots of the story are complexly interwoven and requires the reader's full attention start to finish. I have personally read this book twice cover to cover and actually enjoyed it more the second time. This is an excellent investment of your reading dollar.

Review: This is a must read! I recommend everybody who is a fan of horror (even if you are not) read this book. After I started to read the book, I could not put it down. Alister does a wonderful job in twisting the story, but not complicating the story line. Move over Saul and Koontz, you have some serious competition on your hands with Alister Jak. I can't wait for the next book!

Review: This was a fun read. The author's description of characters made them feel like you knew them and they were very likeable. Moved along at a good pace and made you want to keep reading until you were finished! Refreshing change of venue for a ghost story!
