Summary: Like nothing I've read before
Review: I bought this book on a whim. I had no idea what it was about except what it said in Amazon's description.

I have to say.. this book just pullsyou in to the characters and plot incredibly fast. You get to know the characters pretty well.. then you find out that the heroes are a bumbling drunk, his bumbling drunk mother, a woman on the verge of a mental breakdown, a 15 year old homeless girl, and a 13 year old fallen angel.

There is a TON of graphic violence and sex in this book, but the author manages not to make it tasteless.

This is definitely unique. I can't even think of anyone to compare it with. I've never read anything like this book in my entire life, and would really love to read more of his books in the future. If you like fantasy, this is definitely a book for you.

Summary: Will particularly appeal to horror fantasy enthusiasts
Review: Timothy Whitfield's Witchblood is an occult fantasy-horror novel set in the city of Pittsburgh in 1901. A vile graveworm awakes amid the poisonous fumes of industrialization. A disheveled, albino angel with clipped wings may be humanity's last hope against the creeping onslaught of corruption, yet she herself is on the brink of becoming another victim to the evil. An absorbing saga of darkness and light, Witchblood is an original and deftly woven novel that will particularly appeal to horror fantasy enthusiasts.
