Review: Any horror lover should not miss this collection of short stories. They're creepy, disturbing, and frightening! Ms. Kingsolver is one of the few authors I've read that makes me squirm in my seat, swear that I'll not read any more cause I just can't take it . . . yet, I continue reading, unable to stop. Now, I can take a deep breath and go on. The first story, Horsey Tree, has something to do with a curse. The X-Ray Tech has something to do with hospitals, and the Doggie Bag has something to do with a dinner party. These three are just samples of what is to come if you get your hands on this collection of sixteen shorts. All three start off normal like and then each takes a turn into the dark side. They're also not for the faint of heart! What an enjoyable ride!
