Rating: Summary: Threading the Needle Review: I can not adequately relate in words just how much I enjoyed this book. Mr. Reynolds has always been able to captivate me with his writing, but never before has he given me such delicious shivers. As I read this book, I had to constantly remind myself that I wasn't reading something from Stephen King. I was haunted by the characters, wondering if I would have the same courage to face such demons were I in such a position as the heroine of the story. I read the first half of the book in one day, and actually had to force myself to draw the completion of the other half of the book out to two days. I could no more have waited longer to finish the book than I could make myself invisible. I was drawn into this book, held hostage by the talents of Mr. Reynolds, shivering everytime I turned the page. I read the last page with a mixture of relief that I was freed, and regret that my captivity was over. I have since read the book twice more, and highly recommend it to old and new fans of Mr. Reynolds. If you've never read his work, by all means, begin with this one, you WON'T regret it.
