Summary: If Lovecraft Sailed
Review: Moontide by Erin Patrick gives us Melanie Gierek, half-drowned with rain and depression, and puts her on the path to the cruise of the Louisa Lee, A beautiful ship with a dark past... several of them, to be exact. Her captain seems a part of the ship, an extension of the wheel, the first mate a man getting lost in a bottle, and the cook is no one you'd trust to make you a PB&J! To make the cruise even stranger, the passengers seem like they belong in a play co-written by Gilbert and Sullivan and the Brothers Grimm. Like Maine? Like Sailing? Like having the stuff scared out of you? Read Moontide... and remember, I told you so!
