Rating: Summary: Fools and fiddlers Review: Not many fantasy novels have the post-Civil War south as a setting. In fact, this might be the only one. It is even more likely to be the only novel to have an overly-cautious demonic mule and a downright rash fiddler as the main characters ... not to mention the only one where being dead hasn't stopped Abe Lincoln from being in charge of the Union. If you are looking for fantasy so southern that you can taste the tobacco juice, this might be the book for you.
