Summary: An undiscovered gem.
Review: This book is destined to go down in the annals of writing as one of those guilty pleasure books. The strength of the book lies with its characters who hook you in and keep you till the end. After endless books attempting to duplicate Ann Rice's paint by numbers gothic style with little success it was a breath of fresh air to see the vampire story set in more of a realistic modern day approach. The most appealing thing about this book is how human it is. While this is not the book to impress your lit proffessor with, it is a great book which stands on its own merrits.
