Summary: The Witch At the Window
Review: The Witch At the Window is a great book! Two children discover a hollow tree and investigate with the help of some clothesline. They find a witch's home down in the depths of the tree, and end up taking the witch's big wooden spoon to wind the clothesline up with. In the meantime, the witch is flying around after having changed herself into a sparrow. She then has to find out who has her wooden spoon to change herself back! It sounds weird, but it's really a fun book. It has been one of my favourites since childhood.
