Rating: Summary: Spook Rock is a Winner Review: A VERY satisfying read. Pasquale J. Morrone layers Greek mythology with witchcraft, local legend, folklore, Christian allegory and rich symbolism blending them together seamlessly with a fast paced Gen X video game, expertly detailed detective fiction, just enough sex to be tittilating and and a healthy dose of snappy comebacks in what can only be described as a beautifully crafted and FUN novel. Be prepared for shivers and tingles one minute, chuckles the next. This book will challenge your imagination and force you to look into long neglected corners of your mind as you explore the age old question of good versus evil in a new and different way. A terrific first novel. I eagerly await the next.
Rating: Summary: Scary and fun Review: I actually took a day off from work to finish it. I saw it in the local paper and loved all the small towns he used in my area. Like Mr. Morrone, I was born in Hudson.
Rating: Summary: A page turner indeed Review: I loved the video game idea. Very unique.
Rating: Summary: spook rock Review: I loved this book! great mix of local leagend, greek mythology and witchcraft. makes me think about campfire stories i heard as a child, and scared me just as much as it did then!
