Summary: Stephen King is a magician with his pen.
Review: I had read a few of Stephens books before, but I never knew just how much Mr. King would grasp and take hold of my imagination in his best selling novel "Thinner". This man really knows how to take aspects of both reality and the imaginary and combine them into amazing stories. In the book, Bill Halleck, runs into a gypsy woman crossing the street. In revenge, the woman's father casts a curse on Bill. This unusual curse drastically changes Bill's body and terrifies anyone who comes in contact with him. Frantically, Bill looks for something/someone to help him stop the curse that is just "eating away at him". How will this this devlish curse subside? Only the evil forces in Bills body know. So to overcome what could surely be his death, he must come face to face with the one who gave him the curse in the first place. Who will be the victor in the end? Will Bill survive long enough to confront his "opponent"? Read this amazing novel and find out.

Summary: King sucks you into the world of the macabre!
Review: I've read every book Steven did. Tommyknockers was by far one one of his most thoght out works. (Not to mention the casting of Traci Lords in the Movie). Thinner is a proverb teaching people they better know who they are messing with before they get under their skin. Very well absorbed. Bachman books I had as an original hardback. That was the first book by Steven that was stolen from my collection.(And one of the hardest to replace)The only other authors I collect in hardcover are Edgar Allen poe and Conan Doyle. Not to shabby of a referal!! Steven always will grab you by the throat and pull you kicking and screaming into his twisted yet creative imagination. Awesome!!
