Rating: Summary: Hunter's Moon / Great Review: Hunter's Moon is an amazing cutting edge paranormal adventure. This fast moving, entertaining and well-written novel is a cutting edge paranormal adventure which includes an ex-Mafia hitman, turned werewolf, add in a sexy fragile female who is tired of her family abusing her and is ready to hire someone to end her life. With the plot of how Tony Giodone became a hitman, werewolf, and the lowdown on how his kind operate in the human world, to the love story that develops between Tony Giodone and Sue, and with werewolves mating for life this book sweeps you up into the intricate game of Sue and wolf and the new reality and struggles against killing his client with his all-consuming, supernatural need for her. As the love story develops and the two battle forces of evil, along with the evils only men can do, Sue finds a new reason to live. Tony learns more about the creature he has become - and about the dark inner circle which steadily draws him inside its secret realm. Both Men and Women will enjoy this fast-paced, action/adventure paranormal, and women will be overjoyed in the deftly written love-making scenes. After reading this book I can only anxiously await the next installment of Tony's life as a shapeshifting wolf and lover. This book is great reading on its on, but, just has to be the beginning of a new paranormal series from TOR. Tony's character is just too unique, and too darn SEXY to stop with only one book. This is definately a book to read over and over.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic story that's a must read! Review: HUNTERS MOON is a fantastic story that kept me wondering and imagining what was going to happen next. Reading each page I could see in my mind the story unfolding and it was like watching a really good movie, all I needed was soda and popcorn. This story has a good balance of romance, a thriller with plenty of action and the paranormal thread of Tony the werewolf thrown into the mixture to spice things up, and it certainly does that. This book is one that will fill you with excitement, make you care about the characters and make you want to see how it all turns out in the end. I more than enjoyed this book it was excellent it had a brilliant storyline and extremely well written, I hope that the authors will write more of this type, I know I would definitely queue outside or inside a bookstore to get a copy of this or any like it from these authors. This is a book you won't want to miss out on
Rating: Summary: Annette San Bernardino California Review: Hunters Moon is a great story about one of my most favorite subjects Werewolfs.I read this book in one sitting and have read it severl times since then.I found I liked how Mrs.Clamp&Mrs.Adams used different smells and flavores to describe Sues feelings for Tony who is a assassin turned Werewolf.hired by Sue to do a job she wanted him to kill her but after talking to her Tony developed feelings that he has never had before during the fullmoon.and just didnt have the heart to kill her. This book is just full of Romance and adventure as well as the paranormal. This book will not disappoint You.Its just non stop fun and I look forward to the sequal.
Rating: Summary: Complex and intriquing tale Review: I gave this four stars for the writing and for the talent it took to come up with this unusual plot. I, however, could not get beyond the fact that the hero was an assassin, a member of the Mafia (Family), liked his job and did not hesitate to kill for money. I'm not saying that he got a thrill out of killing, not at all, but nevertheless this was the job he chose to do. I do not buy the fact that the victims deserved to be killed, or that he took jobs of that type deliberately. I also don't think this deserves a sequel if the characters are to remain the hero and heroine. Then it would no longer be a romance, but a mystery or horror story. The ending was complete in itself and did not hint at a followup. By the way I did not like the smell thing or the mind reading, it just overtook the story or became the story. The book was almost totally one character, the hero and the teller of the story. I barely know what the heroine's true personality, feelings, etc. or how she justified her relationship with her family and with the hero. Weakness is the only thing that comes to mind and I don't think that was the authors' intention. Since most of the other readers enjoyed the book, I feel that it must be a matter of taste and this story left a bad taste in my mouth.
Rating: Summary: Yet another fantastic 1st Person read Review: I gave this story 5 stars, because it was a fantastic book. It was written in first person but every character had their own speech, way of doing things and their own 'scent'. Increible funny, poignant and action packed. In this story he has already been a wolf for a while, and an a hit man for longer and has taken pretty good care of himself. And even though you know he's a hit man, he's also the hero of this story and you can't help rooting for him, especially after he meets the heroine. There those characters who are too stupid to live, but she is not one of those, which is why our hero is attracted to her. She is just too sensitive and has been down-trodded on and I felt sorry for her but I did not get annoyed with her for whining, which she did not do much of. And her accpectance of him from the very beginning, is what made the hero fall for her. And they dealt with real issues of life, relationships and their prospective lives. Like how he helped her depression by having her see a psychrtist, and how she made him believe he was not just a violent animal. I can't wait for the sequel in August 2005. This was a romantic, action-adventure, funny, serious and just true-blue love story. I hope you enjoy these talented authors
Rating: Summary: Do yourself a favour... buy this book!!! Review: I was anxious to read this book from the time I read outstanding reviews of it all over the place! When I finally got my hands on it and got started I didn't want to put it down... This book sucks you in from the very beginning and can easily be read in one sitting. Something I would've done if "everyday life" didn't stop one from doing such things!
Personally, I love first person POV novels. They're really personal and capture the narrator's world closely. And this book did just that. I especially enjoyed reading the first person POV of a man being done by female writers. Although it's not a new thing, it is hard to successfully pull it off, and HUNTER'S MOON was more than successful.
Tony was a complex character with a fascinating world around him, and I'm not talking about him being a werewolf either! I enjoyed his internal struggle with being so attracted to Sue but feeling it was too much, with the need to pull away.
And Sue. Well, I personally liked her. She's a tortured soul that is continually manipulated and used by her family, something that goes on in real life more than people realise. She's so beaten down emotionally that she'd rather end the misery and die. A really tough decision for someone to make, but when you're so beaten down that you believe your worth is less than zero, you start to feel the pain she must be going through.
That's why I enjoyed this book so much. Although it's set with a supernatural background, it deals with many real issues in a very honest way. Showing how people affect each other, both in positive and negative ways... and how strong the power of love can be when you find it.
Please, do yourself a favour and read this book. I recommend it to both male and female readers.
You'll get a kick out Tony's scent-association.
If there were more stars, I would give it a 10!
Rating: Summary: You NEED to read this Review: I was impressed. They have been writing for awhile but this was the first
time that they had tried their hands at paranormal romance. Romance is hard
enough but add the paranormal to it and it makes it quite difficult.
I usually won't even pick up a book if it is written in first person. I
bought it from the back cover and started reading when there was nothing to
do. Tony was interesting enough that I turned the first page and kept
reading and reading and reading. I finished it in more or less one sitting.
The humor is wicked. You'll see what I mean when Tony struggles with the
wolf. There were parts that had me laughing so hard the cat in my lap got up
in a huff and went to sleep on the dog.
It walked the fine line between believability and "suuuurrreee". I could see
Tony's take on reality as perfectly valid and realistic given his
background. It wasn't over or under-done to get to that point either. He was
matter of fact about it and I thought it was well done.
I could relate to the heroine. In fact, she was one of the few lately that I
can relate to. I have taken a breather from romance when I was tired of the
heroine either being a whimp, [...] oh excuse me... strong will and
independant, or superwoman/Madonna as in the Blessed Virgin.
I was raised in a time when you were supposed to think of others and mind
your manners no matter what. I was reminded of a quote that I've read
somewhere. "God save me from friends & family, I can take care of my enemies
myself!!!"
You'll love the ending. It braided the threads together and while it gave
closure it left me wanting more.
So my suggestion? Buy it and start emailing them asking for more.
Take care,
Beverly

Rating: Summary: Great Find Review: I won't rehash the story. It is a humerous read that held me til the end. If you like para normal you'll like this.
Rating: Summary: Exciting Paranormal Adventure! Review: Take an ex-Mafia hitman, turn him into a werewolf, send in a fragile female willing to pay big bucks for her own murder, and you've got an amazing, cutting edge paranormal adventure - Hunter's Moon. Written by the collaborative team of Cathy Clamp and C. T. Adams, this entertaining, well-written novel is a gritty, fast-paced adventure with just the right touch of sexy romance. I couldn't help but compare the first person, male narrative style to Mickey Spillane. When Tony Giodone was accidentally turned into a werewolf by a mystery woman, he never got the lowdown on how his kind are supposed to operate in the human world. So he does the best he can. Ruthless and unemotional, Tony meets a new client, Suzi Quentin. Normally, he doesn't blink an eye about killing someone, but the client's request is an unusual one - she wants to hire him to kill her! Her family uses her and abuses her, and she doesn't want to live anymore. But before he can do the deed, Tony finds himself swept up in an intricate game of cat and wolf, with all roads leading back to Sue. Werewolves mate for life in this new reality and although Tony struggles against it, any thoughts of killing his client begin to disappear in the face of an all-consuming, supernatural need for her. As the two battle the forces of evil, along with the evils only men can do, Sue finds a new reason to live. Tony learns more about the creature he has become - and about the dark inner circle which steadily draws him inside its secret realm. Men will especially enjoy this fast-paced, action/ adventure paranormal, and women will be enthralled by the incredible, deftly written love-making scenes. I will anxiously await the next installment on Tony's life as a shapeshifting wolf. Although this novel stands alone, this has to be the beginning of a new paranormal series from TOR. Tony's character is just too unique, and too darn SEXY to stop with only one book. This has earned a spot on my keeper shelf! ----- Tess Mallory, Author of Jewels of Time, Circles In Time, Midsummer Night's Magic, To Touch the Stars, Highland Dream, Highland Fling, and in June 2005, Highland Magic.
