Summary: Gods in love
Review: "Love and Death" continues the tradition of excellent high standard Angel novels. This time around the disfuctional Team Angel are investigating the grusonme murders of the Fletcher family up in the hills. At the same time there is a radio talk show who is insiting people from all over the country to make a pigramige L.A. and go on a monster killing spree. As the call to arms is heeded, Angel and the others have their hands full trying to keep people from destroying half the city in their over erarness to do good. I really liked the idea of people causing more trouble that they intend to. All of these people have their heart in the right place, but the end result is that they end up killing more people than they help. The worst case was when a group of hunters set a building on fire thinking it is a vamp nest, but it is just low income familys that actually live their. On the home front things are just as tense as usual; the Gunn, Wes, and Fred love triangle is still causing problems. Cordy and Connor are still a mystery couple that no one can figure out. And finally Angel is still angry with Wes for kiddnapping infant Connor, and that causes problems when he must ask Wes for help. A quick fast read with lots of action and a decent (though certainly not the best) back story for everything is happening makes this a worthy addition to the Angel library.
