Review: This book impressed me more than any new work of fiction I have read in a very long time. The interaction of the three people down through the ages, constantly meeting and replaying the same tragedy, is portrayed with incredible skill and sensitivity and leaves a haunting, unforgettable imprint on the reader. I am new to Covington's works but will definitely be ordering more of his books.

Review: What can I say? I'm a 'biter' for a great love story and this is one of the most beautiful books I have read in many years. It's not only got a Great Love, it's got swordfights and murder and poetry and adventure and all the other accoutrements of passionate romance, but it's not just some run-of-the-mill bodice-ripper or Sweet Savage, it's a genuine novel. I LOVED it!
