Review: I live in the town in which this story unfolds. The author did a wonderful job of bringing alive life as it was over 100 years ago and weaving it into contemporary life in Thomasville, GA. Through the author's style of writing I could picture myself in Thomasville as it was and as it is. I had a great deal of difficulty putting the book down. I made sure that many of my friends had their own copy of this delightful book. I look forward to reading Ms. Litherland's next book.

Summary: Couldn't put it down!
Review: Janet Litherland kept my interest from the first page to the last. This book is full of history, suspense, emotion, romance, relationships between family members, and delightful descriptions of the characters and their surroundings. So well written that you feel you are a part of the story. Now for a trip to Thomasville to see the sights described in the book!
