Summary: Different from usual, interesting, not a page turner.
Review: I have read most of King's books and consider myself a fan. This book is different, interesting to read, but not the page turner most of his other books are. I was following everything fine until Chapter 26, I believe, where he spun off and I had a difficult time making sense of it.(It was late at nite tho)so I kind of glossed over it and was wondering if I should go back and re-read it before going on or just skip it. It was a dream and not-a-dream kind of writing. Sounded a lot like the weird dreams I have that no one I tell can believe. King makes me feel better about myself when I read his stories because they are even weirder than my dreams (or just as..). I'm not quite finished with the book but plan finish tonite. It's fun to be able to review books and movies as a non-professional and I enjoy reading the review by others, as well. Thanks. Any comments about Chapter 26 will be welcome.

Summary: I loved this book.
Review: Wow! This book blew me away. It's a bit slow at the beginning but once it takes off it really takes off. I take my hat off to King for giving his fans another great choice at the bookstore. Thanks Mr. King.

Summary: WONDERFUL!!!!!
Review: Oh man was this book good. I was crying at the end, that's how much it moved me. I will miss that book now, it totally consumed me within a week. One of the best of King's that I have read.

Summary: A sensitive look at an enduring love.
Review: This is the closest King has come to understanding the enduring feelings a woman can have--good and bad. King accurately examines the strength of emotion a woman can feel for her child, injustice, and the man she loves. This is well worth the money and time to read.

Summary: Disappointing. King can do better.
Review: Sub-standard King. Pace is slow, payoff is disappointing. Not at all near his usual standards. Too bad, because he is a great storyteller. Skip this one.

Summary: Positively Entranced
Review: By far, his finest work to date. I was rivited from the very first page. As a devoted King fan, I have to say "Bravo"! Keep them coming.

Summary: Steve does it again!!
Review: As a constant reader, I believe that Bag of Bones continues the tradition of King's spellbinding attraction. I also enjoy listening to all of the King novels on Audiotape, and particularly enjoy when they are read by the author (who said nasal???)

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: I enjoyed this book immensely. I could not help but fall a little bit in love with Mike Noonan, his love for Jo was heartfelt and I felt close to tears a few times reading this. I had read the reviews of this book before I bought it and some reviews were unfavorable, but I thought I would find out for myself what kind of book it was! Good work Stephen! Keep em coming!

Summary: King is excellent as usual!
Review: "Bag of Bones" is an excellent ghostly love story, and a refreshing eyeopener. King once again lets us into the soul of the characters! I could not put it down. He did a great job of getting one so involved that I couldn't wait to find out what would happen next. King is "the master storyteller" as this book once again demonstrates! From the opening I was trying to guess the secret his wife died with ...and trying to decide how to feel about her was even more exciting. The true talent of King is evident when I feel the characters emotions and can understand the depth of what they are going through. I hope to see more of King's "ghostly love stories:"!

Summary: Kings new masterpiece, a haunted version of Insomnia
Review: Bag of Bones begins slowely, with chapters centering more around the literary industry then the charicters themselves, but when the novel picks up pace, plot twists and mysterious charicters give it a feel similar to Insomnia, but with more action and emotion.
