Summary: After you read the last page you will wish there were more.
Review: This book was so good that I was in trouble for reading it on my vacation over Christmas in Costa Rica. I look forward to "Storm of the century". Keep it up Steven King.

Summary: King proves his royalty
Review: Stephen King has always ben a best seller, but could he always write? This question does not need to be asked with Bag of Bones. The book does have many twists, turns, sideplots, and seemingly endless turns down tangent lane, but they all meet down the line, every turn leading to one of his best stories to date.

Summary: Couldn't put it down!
Review: Stephen King's newest book, "Bag of Bones" was just simply awesome! I couldn't put it down. I have been a fan since I was 12, starting with "Carrie", but "Bag of Bones" is by far the best! It is so intense and I'd have to say his maturist book ever. It is a love story about a well-to-do writer that loses his wife and their unborn child. He ends up losing his ability to write and goes to there log cabin to "straighten things out". He has horrible nightmares. There is someone in the house and he is trying to find out who. The deeper he digs, he finds secrets about his wife. He also gets dragged into a custody saga of a young widowed woman and her evil father in law. Who will win? Who is haunting the house and why? Will he ever write? Find out by reading "Bag of Bones"! You'll love it!

Summary: King Among Kings
Review: Once again, Stephen King has demonstrated his skill at drawing in a reader and not letting go. In "Bones", he has created a plot that keeps the pages turning, and a setting that seems somehow very familair...almost as if you've been to Dark Score Lake yourself. What's more, King has brought back to form the eerieness that has been lacking in his past few novels. Definately worth the read, but be prepared for late nights!

Summary: this book goes off into so many meaningless directions.
Review: i swear i will not buy another SK book. i was so disappointed - he has not written a good book since misery. i think this book is about him - he is dredging up books he wrote at an earlier time. i want my money back. i couldn't follow this and there seemed to be a lot of gratutitous sex.

Summary: EASILY THE BEST OF THE SERIES
Review: The biggest problem I had with this book is how long Stephen King took to release it. I had to re-read the other 3 books in the series to remind myself of what was going on. However, the wait was well worth it as this is far and away the best of the series. I love the other 3 books, but it really isn't close. At first I was unhappy when I learned that the majority of this book takes place int he past, but what a great story it tells. Finally we get a glimpse into Roland's past and why he is as he is. The book doesn't have as much action as the other 3, but it makes up for it with suspense and yes, even romance. This is not only the best book of the series, but one of the best King books in a long time. Now if he could just get the next one out a little sooner

Summary: Combine the audio tapes and book for double the pleasure
Review: I listened to the audio tapes in the car, then picked up where they left off in the book, then continued with the audio tapes the next day, etc. Since I had a hard time putting the book down this helped finish it quick. It was very fun since Stephen King was doing the reading on the tapes; I feel I understood the book better listening to him read the book he wrote. It was a different turn for him and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Stephen.

Summary: Piece of Junk
Review: This book is slow, boring and meaningless. If you are looking for some horror, chill, or thrill then this book is not worth. It is painfully long, drags on and on without any pulsating or gripping drama. This book does not deserve as much as attention it has been getting.

Summary: Great ghost story mingled with romance
Review: At first I thought this was going to be wordy and not much of a Stephen King book. Once I got into it (without prejudice or expecting a top SK one of a kind)I began to get into the plot and into the nonstop, can't put it down, real story that I always love about SK. First thing that was great was the romance. I love horror, but when you can add the romantic with the blood and gore, that shows the book is going to be good. By the time I was able to put it down I was done. I flew through reading this like none of his other books, and had dreams about it also!!!! It is definitely a one of a kind. And a keeper! Great job Stephen King!!!

Summary: wrier's block???
Review: once again, Mr. king writes about himself as the main character. Muli-book deals, high paid author, and the inability to produce on paper anything worthy of the consumers money. perhaps it is his notion to continually publish at the holiday season and live off the reputation of his early writing days to land the big bucks. Try working a little harder next time.
