Summary: COMPELLING; SUSPENSEFUL
Review: I think that this is most definitely one of King's best work. It is a mix of his best horror and psychological thriller styles. There is just enough of each so that you aren't grossed out or confused by twists and turns in the plot. The characters are well developed and the plot will keep you turning pages until well past midnight. The characters are so well written that you will either completely love them or hate them, with no middle ground. "Bag of Bones" is one of King's greatest novels, and positively one of my all-time favorites.

Review: This book is the best. I know it has received mixed reviews from the people out there, but it really shines. Each of King's books stands on its own and you can never compare which one is better than the other, because unlike other writers, King doesn't follow just one style. He changes with each book. This book proves it. There's just so much passion in the story that it just puts you in awe throughout your reading. One of King's best books in a long, long time. Truly deserving, it's not a surprise, it's King's most commercially successful book of all time. Topping more than 1.6 million copies sold and still the paperback hasn't yet hit the streets.

Summary: Stephen King is BACK!!!!!!
Review: I have been an ardent fan of Mr.King since who knows when.....The Stand, It, The Tailsman, Insomonia,etc....those where classic King. But after that, when he signed a large contract with his publishing house, I felt he turned into a "mimeographic writer" simply to fullfill his "contract". With that, I stopped reading him. After reading the reviews of "Bag of Bones", I decided to give him another whirl---and boy was I glad I did----CLASSIC KING!!!--HE IS BACK!!!-- This yarn has everything----classic setup of characters, intriguing dialouge, the "spider web" story buildup,suspense,ending with a "can't put me down" ending. I am so glad I came back. Mr.Kings next book will be awaited with great anticipation----I simply hope that he continues in the arena in which he is so famous for.

Summary: A Great Ghost Story!
Review: This is his best in a while. Big fan of early King ( It, The Stand), but his latest have rehashed too many old ideas (Desperation was just a riff on It). This was a well told, at times quite creepy ghost story. Every little detail adds to the spooky atmosphere and gives the book a distinctive feel to it. Max Devore was also a good villan. A very satisfying read.

Summary: Good but showed some of King's own issues
Review: I will not lie, I was totally inot this book. It's Stephen Kind. I jkust love his style of writing, not matter what all my professors say. however, this book gave me these wierd hits of King's own personal mid-life crisis. I mena, come on, the main character was attracted to Mattie because of her age and that's sick. But I felt King was constantly trying to explain his attraction away. To be honest, it was making me sick. I'd never think king would display such a base mentality. Mattie was totally sexualized and I don't think King meant it. And that little threesome thing he had going was unneccesary!I was glad when she was killed off! And that's terrible. but she was damn annoying. Other than that, it was a good story.

Summary: It draws you in.
Review: I enjoy King's writing, and I found this novel to be quite different from his usual work, but I really enjoyed it. The characters were so interesting and compelling that I was drawn into their story very quickly. Because the reader stays with the main character throughout the story, and perceives event as he does, the novel is able to give clues about what is going on and still be surprising with it's twists and turns. This has been one of my favorite books by King so far.

Review: this book definitely is one which will keep you up for hours; as it says on the front cover, it is a "haunted love story"; although it may seem long at first glance, the reading goes very quick; AWESOME book.
