Summary: "Bag of Bones" is a book made utterly of words
Review: To those who would rank Stephen King in a category other than "classic," I have nothing to say. This is his best book ever. It has a dark, hypnotic lyricism equal to anything from D.H. Lawrence. The book is permeated with a bottomless loss, a longing so poignant that it crawled up my throat, into my brain, and filled me with a yearning so vivid and mysterious and rapturous that I was nearly transported out of my own body. What was I longing for? Not for something, but for anything. I haven't read anything close to it since Tennyson's "In Memoriam." King's writing is so beautiful, the language so sexily crafted, that he can be called nothing if not a true, essential artist. I once believed his works to be entirely plot-driven, but "Bag of Bones" is a book made utterly of words. King places his words with the devotion and intensity of a lover, and every reader is his beloved, the grateful, breathless recipient of his gift.

Summary: The best book I've ever read!!!
Review: Whenever I had to put Bag of Bones down to go to work, I could not stop thinking or talking about it. I was so wrapped up in the story that I had two very vivid nightmares during the week that I spent reading it. I was convinced that my house was haunted after I finished the book. Just as in the book, my television mysteriously turned itself on!! I still can't explain that one. I read Bag of Bones over 3 months ago and I'm still talking about it. I've read a few books since, and I'm now considering reading Bag of Bones again because nothing else compares!

Summary: Kept me up all night...
Review: Bag of Bones was a remarkable book. I read it until 4 o'clock in the night and i finished it in 3 days. It is true that the first hundred pages were a bit slow, but they were indeed important.

Summary: A must-read!!!
Review: I think one of the characteristics of a great book is its ability to affect the reader emotionally long after one has turned the last page. This is one of those rare books. This haunting story will linger in your mind (and dreams) for quite awhile. Two thumbs up for Mr. King

Summary: A edge of your seat type of book!!
Review: This book is the best I've ever read. No other book kept me on the edge of my seat like this one. Never have I read something that kept me reading until the last page and wishing for more.

Summary: Since you start reading it, you can't put it down!!!
Review: Ok. I'm 18 and I always have a book between my hands, which is not so very common between any of my friends. I read at night, before getting asleep at sometimes at the afternoon. Sometimes. What happened to me with this book was amazing. I just couldn't drop it. I would carry it everywhere, read wherever I was, I LOVED IT. I've read Stephen King before, many of his books. But this one is FAR the best he's written and the best I've ever read. It combines everything perfectly: Love, sadness, ghosts, the visions at the beggining of the century. It would take me only ONE second to immerge in Myke Noonan and Sara Tidwell's world. Max Devore and Roggette Whitmore are the first characters from a book that I've hated!!!

By far Stephen King is one of the best authors anyone could ever read.

Summary: His second best book...
Review: Ok, I'll be brief here...

The book does start out slow, but stick with it and pay attention. I have read about 40 fiction novels, not a lot, but enough to make comparisons. My favorite book is IT by Stephen King. No other book I've read has come close. Now, after reading Bag Of Bones there is a book that's close. That's all I have to say. Please read it and lose yourself in beautifully written story.

Summary: Great read! I was hardly able to put it down!!
Review: I am usually a slow reader and it usually takes me quite a while to read any book, but not this one. I have been reading Stephen King books for years and I love his works. For me this one is one of the best books I have read in a while. I hope he keeps up his good work, as he always does!!

Summary: One of the best King books in awhile! Welcome back, Stephen!
Review: I constantly keep telling my horror reading friends, "You've got to read 'Bag of Bones'". In my opinion, it is some of his best work in a long time. Ever since 'Gerald's Game', and from then on, I was a little disappointed with the work that was coming from King. But, I never stopped buying and reading, hoping that the writer of 'The Stand' and 'It' would come roaring back. And he did! I loved this book! I was sorry when it had to end. I recommend this Stephen King book whole-heartedly. You won't be able to put it down!
