Summary: If you like Stephen King, you'll like this book.
Review: Having been an avid King reader for years...the past four or so years I've been less interested in his books. I don't know if it's his turn in writing - or it's me. But I started reading "Bag of Bones" and it was pretty intriguing. Strung me along and even scared me a little, sort of like "The Dark Half", "Secret Window, Secret Garden" (in four past midnight), and for some reason I got the same feelings during the reading of "Needful Things". If you liked those stories - you'll definitely like this one. I enjoy his commentary on other writers, the way he describes the sexuality in the book, and of course, the spine tingling scary moments. Good Read.

Summary: Not his best
Review: This book while not unreadable certainly wasn't very original. All of the "secrets" could be guessed about 200 pages before revelation. And what was all the gratuitous sex for? One vivid description of a wet dream after another - I was ready to gag. If this is the author's attempt at a love story, I'd like him to stick to simple horror, please.

Summary: Best Stephen King Book Yet!
Review: I've read them all and this one definitely stands out! Amazing work! A++++++!

Summary: Help !
Review: I'm on the verge of putting this book down and closing it for good. But I believe that you should never leave a book unread once you started reading it. If you quit, you will never know what you missed ahead and this is very unfair to the writer. So will someone please give me ONE REASON to continue reading this book? I'm in the middle of it. I'm finding it BORING. Every night I fall asleep before I make it to the second page. Which means I have been reading this book for about 300 days. Thanks. stenella@hotmail.com

Summary: GREAT!
Review: This book was great, I could not put it down. It's all about an author, Mike Noonan, his wife dies. He has to go back to his summer home, Sara Laughs because of his vivid recurring nightmares. He meets Mattie and her daughter Kyra, and discovers the whole truth about the town around him. A good ghost story, and it scared me so much! It made me go and order more by my favorite, Stephen King!

Summary: Brilliant
Review: I bought Bag of Bones in June of 99 and was not able to put it down. It's not your typical ghost story, it combines a variety of different plots which come together in the end. From an avid King reader, I think this is one of his best.

Summary: The best book I`ve read in years
Review: I actually listened to the audiobook while driving. It was read by King himself, the way he meant it to be read. Listening to him describe the refrigerater magnet messages and Bunter`s bell left me with chills. This was just a good old fashioned ghost (love) story and I was thinking about it for days after I listened to it.

Summary: Not up to par
Review: This book was not up to Stephen King's usual greatness. It was disappointing. If you're looking for King's usual horror genre, forget this one. Try one of his earlier works (Carrie, 'Salem's Lot, etc.). You'll enjoy it much more. Sorry Stephen!

Summary: A Haunted Love Story
Review: I loved this book. I believe it is one of King's best. It may drag on for those of you who like to get right to the point, but it will linger on in your mind. You will learn to love and pity the main characters. The will become part of your life. It may even make you believe in ghosts. The little details in the novel are what are scary. (The clock, Bunter's Bell, the alphabet letters). This is a definate read! It's hard to put down, but easy to get involved in. Also, be sure to not be interupted when you get to the climax....you will drop whatever you are doing!

Summary: Love Is In The Air
Review: I am normaly not a Stephen King fan but this book just sounded too good to be put down. I was right. This wasn't the normal Stephen King book. It has romance and a bit of the supernatural going on. I throughly enjoyed this book. For those of you who didn't like it try reading it again with a diffrent prepective. Any of Kings fans out there will love this book.
