Summary: Best Book so far by Stephen King
Review: This is one of the best books I have ever read. Stephen King did one hell of a number on this one! This book has many twists and turns that keep the reader on the edge of his seat. I would recomend this book to anyone who likes to actually be apart of the story. Stephen King gets all the thumbs up possible for this great story. We can only hope that Stephen King can continue with such exceptional writing that entertains yet surprises at every twist and turn of the story. Thank you Stephen King for this masterwork!

Summary: Not his Best
Review: I own and have read every Stephen King book there is (Except one) and I have to say this is not one of his best. I feel that this time he went more on the side of predictable then he ever has. The opening chapter was a page turner and kept me going but somewhere along the way it lost me. I had the feeling that I had read the story before many times with just a different twist. Usually reading a SK book is a sit down all day and never put it down, this one took a week.

Summary: A book of mysteries
Review: 40-year-old novelist, Mike Noonan, returns to his cabin by a lake after having nightmares of his wife's death. Later he falls in love with a widowed woman, Mattie. She has a daughter, Kyra, who's 3 yrs. old. This book involves romance as well as a ghostly story, and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in ghosts. I personally loved this book for its ghost story.

Summary: A classical Stephen King's style
Review: I found nothing different than King's style in this book. Everything is similar to his other book scene, characters, story nothing change even a bit. Sometimes I feel like I am reading The Shining again. there is really great similarity between shining and this book but of course shining is much more better than this book. May be the most suitable sentence for this book is It isn't the best but it isn't the worst either

Summary: Spellbound
Review: I have been curiously attracted to the works of Stephen King for most of my life. I began reading bag of bones with my fiance' before we were engaged. I had to leave town a short time later for a month and became consumed by it before I returned. I finshed it alone. I was spellbound from start to finish. I felt as if I was living the horror of the death and subsequent haunting of his wife and others, right along with him. I remember being terrified at the thought of the magnets spelling out the messages and so intrigued by them, that I couldn't wait for the next visit. The name of the child was not an incredible shock, however the psychic connection between the two of them from first sight was wonderful. Suffice to say, there were a few nights that I read until the sun came up for fear of falling asleep. I love horror novels and mystery novels alike... Seldom do I enter the trance that carried me throughout this entire novel in less than 3 weeks. This was one of the best pieces of literature I have ever read. My hat is off to the master, Stephen King. Long live the KING!

Summary: A beautiful but somewhat confused book
Review: I'll spare you the plot, as everybody has seen fit to retell it here. But there is one amusing part of the book where the hero-novelist is told that his "latest" book (actually written years earlier) is more "mature." I don't know if King is having fun with us, but this is a more mature book, in the sense that its primary focus is (until the end) love, understanding, grief, time, and emotional growth. As the NYTimes' Daniel Mendelsohn writes, however, in the end it becomes confused about what it wants to be. It ends up a typical King book (that is not a criticism), part legal thriller, and mostly horror. Where I yearned for Mike Noonan's feelings regarding his dead wife and other significants to be explored, I am treated instead to The Shining. Many issues are left unresolved. Nonetheless, the book's slower pace and, yes, maturity, make it well worth reading for King fans and non-King fans alike.

Summary: One of the best "Haunted Love Stories"
Review: You are immediately engulfed as you begin this intoxicating story of Mike Noonan,Jo,(the love of his life--even in her death), and the evolution of his relationship with Mattie and Kyra Devore. For those who are Stephen King fans, the setting is all-too familiar, the small New England town, where the family lines run deep and the history runs even deeper. You come to know Mike well throughout the story, enough to become enrapt in his feelings and able to almost anticipate the actions that evolve. You'll begin to care for Mattie, and for Kyra like a daughter. You too will become entrenched in the lines and the history that has run through the TR and through Sara Laughs since the death of Sara Tidwell, understanding her legacy the way that Jo had begun to, and Mike had no choice but to learn. Take the time, read it through, you will enjoy this story as it haunts you as well.

Summary: my favorite book ever
Review: I'm in 7th grade, but this is a very good book,my favorite ever in fact! It wasn't at all a bad ending like in a few other King books! It was quite a happy ending. It was a little bit scary but only for a bit. There wasnt much violence either...and by violence i mean disgusting deaths and other such things. There was only one real bad part, it was my favorite King book ever and possibly my favorite ever! i give it five stars!

Summary: A whole new Bag
Review: I have been a fan of Stephen Kings from the first book of his that I read but sometimes he tends to be a little lengthy. 'Bag of Bones' is a bit different from his other books but just as enjoyable. Do you believe in ghosts? Even if you arent' a fan of King, give this one a try - you might be surprised.

Summary: Good book
Review: I don't usually read Steven King but I really enjoyed this book. Usually I find he gets too far out there but not this time.
