Rating: Summary: A Awesome book Review: My moms friend introduce me to V.C. Andrews last year I've read all the series and this series is so sad and great at the same time I recomend any V.C. Adrews books to anyone. Ruby is one of my favorite books ever.
Rating: Summary: a charmer Review: This book was great... the whole series was. You got to know and love all of the characters in it and learn to appreciate life more also. Of course horrible things did happen, yet they all had that optimistic look at the end, which sometimes can be a great thing. If you want a great book to read on your spare time I recommend this one!
Rating: Summary: good start to a series Review: this was the first book that i had read by v.c andrews and this book kept me wondering what was going to happen next. i stayed interested through out the whole series and found it very hard to put down. ruby is such a strong girl and knows how to cope with difficult situations. i would recomend this whole series to anyone.
Rating: Summary: good book Review: it took me quite a few months to get through this book b/c the beginning was so boring, and didn't get good, unfortunately, until about more than half way through. i didn't appreciate everyone's spoiling reviews on here, either, when I was first reading the reviews, esp. the one who tells you what HAPPENS in the following 2 books... my favorite series is still the Cutler series, though.
Rating: Summary: Do whats best Review: This book is all about the way that you perceive things in your mind then finding out the truth. Why the things are the way that they are. The truth may hurt but it always is for the best that you learn from it and do whats best. Dont do what you think will be better later when you know in the future its not. Know what you know and go from there. Your future is up to you. This book is really good and it shows a perfect example of how determination works for you. I recomend that you read it and I promise you wont regret it.
Rating: Summary: Readable Review: It was a decent novel. Interesting, page turning, the typical V.C. stuff. However if you're looking forward to the rest of the series, watch out for disappointments. This is as good as it gets for the Landry series.
Rating: Summary: This is the greatest book ever written Review: It was only by chance that i decided to read "ruby" and im glad i did. its the greatest book i have ever read...and i'vre read a lot of books! v.c. andrews has a unique way of touching her readers....is so cool! if your looking for an AWESOME book, read it!
Rating: Summary: A review from Holland Review: Dear Readers of Virginia Andrews, I have enjoyed this book very much, and can't wait to read the next. I have read the Dutch version of this book. This one is one of my favourites. I can assure you that this is the most pleasurable time spending there is, reading this book. I hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.
Rating: Summary: A THRILLING STORY Review: I found this book under the horror section in my local bookstore, and bought it, thinking it was a horror story. What I found, was that it was more of a romance. Ruby Landry finds many shocking secrets about her past that she had no idea. If you haven't read this book, here's what happens at the end: Ruby is sent to a mental insitutuion from her wicked stepmother but she escapes. She tells her Daddy and he decides to send her and Giselle off to boarding school. If you haven't read the next two books what happens is, her Dad and stepmom both die, and so does Giselle, and Ruby get's pregant. There. I just ruined the story for you. Applaud me! Oh, and Paul commits suicide.

She lives with her Grandmere Catherine, they are very poor.Grandpere ,an outcast, sold Rubies twin sister for $2000and gambled awayRubies half-brother.Rubies heart is broken when Grandmere dies.Ruby finds her father ,a rich creole, and goes to live with her father.
