Rating: Summary: Great vampire book Review: Alisa looks like a beautiful young woman, but she is actually a 5,000 year old vampire by the name of Sita. Created by Yaksha, whose birth is shrouded in darkness, Alisa is the oldest and most powerful being on earth. Or so she thinks. She finds out someone is searching for her, watching her. In her frustration, she kills the source of her information, and enrolls in a local high school to get close to his son, Ray, in hopes of finding out who is hunting her. Against her own will, she finds herself drawn to Ray, since he reminds her so much of her dead husband, Rama. She risks everything to protect Ray, even if it may mean the end of her own immortality, when Yaksha returns to finish a vow made long ago . . . The Last Vampire series is some of Christopher Pike's best. After I read this, all other vampire stories pale in comparison (this is probably why I didn't like The Silver Kiss, I reas this first). Alisa is a realistic character despite the string of murders behind her name. She has human hopes, fears and emotions. Really, this is a GREAT BOOK!
Rating: Summary: Hi! Review: Hey everyone! I don't really do this sort of thing that often...but I really love this book and when I saw I could make my own review I just felt I needed to share. I really like this book baisically because it has a great plot, it's well written, and the entire subject of vampires fascinates me. I think Christopher Pike did a great job at giving backround information and I especially like the perspective in which he wrote the book. I guess that's all I have to say really. So, Bye!
Rating: Summary: Survival.. Review: This is probably the greatest book I've ever read.Pike does a good job of making the storys into both past and present times, also Pike knows what his reader wants to read, The Last Vampire is at least a 5 Star book and I recommend this book to all fans of Horror.

Rating: Summary: Last Vampire Review: The Last Vampire is a good book over all. There is a lot of action, but I did have a problem with the romance in the story. It is excellent that the the "Last Vampire" is a female. It is a good book for people interesting in vampire stories--particularly if you are a girl
Rating: Summary: the last vampire Review: the last vampire is a awesome book. that is what I think. because I love thrillers. the main character is Sita she has many names, but Sita is her real name, she has lived for five-thousand years. a vampire can walk in the sun like Bram Stokers theory. but at night they are at there full strenght. in the sun they are weaker, but still ten times faster and stronger then a normal human being. they cannot be harmed by a crucifix, because the catholic believe began two-thousand years ago and she is three-thousand years older, so that is logic. sita is the last vampire, or so she thinks. someone has hired a detective to investigate her the detective tried to blackmail her but she killed him. now she has to know what he found out about her when he was alive. her only lead now is his son ray. she finds out that ray is the incarnation of her first love rama. and is not sure what to do. she has never told anbody she was a vampire and let him or her live
Rating: Summary: you have gotta read this book! it is soo good! Review: The Last Vampire is quite possibly one of the best books that I have read in a long time! The sequels were great, too! If you haven't read it yet you're missing out! Not even being a horror fan my sister read this book and still can't wait to finish reading the sequels! Great work Mr. Pike! Thankz for the excitement and keep up the good work!
Rating: Summary: Good story but I found it hard to relate. Review: The story here was pretty good; Pike isn't bad for a teen horror writer that uses the same twists again and again in different settings. I simply found it hard to relate to Sita/Alisa; she's 5,000 after all, and at times she was downright unlikeable. Still, I plan to read the sequals.
