Summary: Best vampire book ever!
Review: I have red all 6 of these books & I just have 2 say that these r some of the best books I've ever red! I red all of these books 2x. I own the 1st volume and have been waiting 2 get the 2nd 1! Reading these books, has given me a whole new outlook on what vampires r really like. I red a whole bunch of different vampire books & none of them r like this. This book changed the way I think about vampires and other creatures that people claim 2 b evil. I hope that every1 gets 2 read this book bcuz it WILL change the way u think about monsters & anything that's evil.

Summary: Good read but no Interview with a Vampire.
Review: I'm torn with some of the things in this book.
1) Not sure if it is a good thing that vampires are so powerful. Many of the vulnerabilities normally attributed to the vampire legend are abandoned here. The only possible enemy such vampires could have are other vampires or something more evil. I personally prefer when a "mortal" can go toe-to-toes with a vampire.
2) Great action and pace but the story totally leaves you hanging. If you aren't prepared to keep reading the next book then this is not for you.
3) At one point I found myself skimming over parts of the "protaganit's" history/flashback when in reality it is very needed information. Don't skip like I did.
4) Overall an entertaining read but Vampire$ by John Steakly is still my favorite and Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice is my second favorite and Those Who Hunt the Night by Barbara Hambly is third.

Summary: My First Pike Book
Review: The Last Vampire is the first Christopher Pike book I've ever read. It is a fantastic book. This book is about a female vampire trying to keep her "condition" secret form the modern world. But that is very hard for her to do when she is being investigated by a private detective. Now she's on a mission to find the detective's client that set him on her path. I could barely put this book down. You should definetly read this book.

Summary: Hey, what can I say?
Review: I'm serious. What can I say? I don't know what to say about this book. Why is that, you ask? It's because this book is possibly the best book that I have ever read.
I read this book when I was pretty young. Christopher Pike has always had the ability to grab you from the first page, make you wanting more. This book is exactly like that, only better. At first, you really hate Sita, who is the narrator of this book and plus the main character. I mean, seriously, your gonna hate her more than you hated anything in your life, you think at first that she must have no concious at all, no guilt factor. Then the book gets deeper and deeper, and you realize why she turned out that way...and then you feel like you've known her your entire life and you actually care for her. Christopher Pike is the one of the only authors who could do this properly and make it look realistic. This book is not only unique, but it changes your life. How? Why? Well, the how part is the fact that if you aren't into books, this book will get you into books. Why? The why reason is because no other books live up to this one. Get it. It's great.

Summary: Great Pike and Vampire Book
Review: This was the first Christopher Pike book that I read. It's a great book about vampires and humans. The characters are great, extremely detailed. You get caught up in Alisa's thoughts and you think you are her. The plot is original. A good book for teens and young adults (18-25) but probably no older or younger. Worth the money.

Summary: The Last Vampire Series
Review: I loved the Last Vampire series. I've read all the books like more than five times already. They are about a 5,000 year old vampire named Sita/Alisa. She finally finds love and it is taken away from her all the times when it means something. Old enemies come back for her. But she never gives up because she is the most powerful creature on earth.

Summary: Awesome!
Review: Dude - I couldn't put this down! I read it in less that 24 hours. I've never done that! This is the best book I've read in a LONG time. I recommend it to anyone who likes action, adventure, and romance. It is an excellent piece of literature. I also recommend the sequals!

Summary: The Last Vampire
Review: The Last Vampire... is a story of the true nature of good vs. evil. When one finds themselves in the shoes of Sita, the haunted last vampire and heroine of the story, one truly understands what Sita faces being the last of her kind. She deals with things that would make a mortal scream with terror, and calmly as well.

The most notable feature throughout the book is Sita herself; her mysterious nature that the whole book seems to be centered around. Sita is not one to tell you more than she needs to. When asked about her accent, for instance, the explains it away with ease, creating an enigmatic aura around herself. Her past, a mystery to be sure, is explained away in the number of strikingly uncomfortable jokes about being a vampire and living in the past. Also, her actions never quite seem to have a reason.

Never before have I read a book as compelling as this, and the only things that match up by comparison in event the smallest amount are the numerous other books by the amazing author Christopher Pike, who is mystery himself.

I couldnt put the series down. the 4th is the absolute best. I loved them all. I cried when the series was over. I decided I could always read them over again so I did I have read them about 10 times. I can't stress how much it has changed me. Her stories are amazing. Christopher Pike is the BEST author in the WORLD! You HAVE GOT TO READ THIS BOOK!! Summary: Great vampire book for all ages.
Review: The Last Vampire was published by Archway Paperbacks (Pocket Books) as a book for "young adults" but it is can be enjoyed by all fans of the vampire genre. It is concise and fast-paced and totally unlike the slow moving and sometimes wordy Anne Rice books. The book introduces us to a 5,000 year old vampire who looks like a beautiful 18 year old girl. She is intelligent, powerful and deadly. If you like vampires, you will like The Last Vampire.
