Summary: In Love with Lestat
Review: Like a lot of people, I was introduced to Anne Rice through the movie "Interview With a Vampire". I never liked Tom Cruise much, but this character he was portraying was unbelievable. A longtime fan of vampire stories, I have never met in my books anyone like Lestat. When I saw this book, I immediatly read it in just 2 days. Is it possible to fall in love with a novel character? If I wasn't in love with Lestat before, I was after reading this book. I felt for him, I felt him, I saw through his eyes. His mortal life, his vampire life, his loves and loses. I wanted to actually reach out to him. I have continued reading the Vampire Chronicles just to get more of him. I have never read a more well written and complex book. Anne Rice goes so deep and I am forever grateful to her imagination for giving me such a wonderful character to love and follow.

Summary: Beloved Lestat
Review: Let me begin by telling you how I was introduced to our brat prince. I saw the movie "Interview with the Vampire" about five years ago. I saw the character of Lestat in the movie and was intrigued by him. He was portrayed as the evil type, and was practically hated in the movie. Of course I love evil people, so after reading the novel "Interview with the Vampire", I immediately went to the novel of "The Vampire Lestat". I fell completely in love with Lestat de Lioncourt. I could feel his pain and happiness, everything was so vividly and beautifully described by our wonderful Anne Rice. So then I picked up the graphic novel, and I fell even more in love with Lestat. The graphic novel is so awesome. But, a word of advice. When you pick up TVL, be sure to pick up the Queen of the Damned novel as well, because where TVL leaves you off and craving for more, QOTD picks up and leaves you satisfied. You had better hurry up and pick up the graphic novel because it will soon become an extreme rareity!

Summary: AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
Review: I read Interview With The Vampire first, and I hated Lestat so much. After reading this book I absolutely adore him, and actually think of Louis as the weak evil one. Ok I wouldn't go that far, I still love him too. Lestat is an amazing character, and it blows my mind to think of what he went through right before meeting Louis. You might as well buy Queen of the Damned with this one, because after you finish this one you'll be mad that you have to make an extra trip to the bookstore to get that one. :) This book is absolutely amazing. Take my word on buying Queen of the Damned along with this one. I had to wait 2 agonizing weeks before I could get my copy!!!!!!!!

Summary: One Soul's Journey Into a Personal Hell
Review: I would personally recomend this book to ANYONE! It is full of vivid imagery and detailed descriptions of a mind bending, all-too real charecture, Lesat de LionCourt. This book takes it's reader inside this Vampire's head, into his dreams, feelings, and world, so compleatly that you begin to loose touch with reality if you read this book too long. It needs no pictures really, for the graphicly depicting descriptions will have powerful images running through your head as you race through it to see what happens. Written by the always wonderful Anne Rice, this book grips you and will change how you percive the world forever.

Summary: Just great!
Review: I really did love this book, from cover to cover -absolutely fantastic! You really feel an empathy, not just with the main character of Lestat, but of the others mentioned throughout the book. I have read all of the Vampire Chronicles, which Anne has presented us with, up to Memnoch - the Devil, and all are very unique, yet they also posess the same qualities of intregue and facsination throughout the tales. My favorite of them all is Mischeivous, Charasmatic, Charming, Caring, yet selfish charcter of the blood-thirsting Vampire Lestat! Who is not so much evil as he is deviant! I would not even wish to spoil such a fantastic book for anyone contemplating on purchasing it - all I can say, is that, I am not a great reader, but this is one book, I read solid for 5 days! I loved it - Well done Anne!
