Summary: One Soul's Journey Into a Personal Hell
Review: I would personally recomend this book to ANYONE! It is full of vivid imagery and detailed descriptions of a mind bending, all-too real charecture, Lesat de LionCourt. This book takes it's reader inside this Vampire's head, into his dreams, feelings, and world, so compleatly that you begin to loose touch with reality if you read this book too long. It needs no pictures really, for the graphicly depicting descriptions will have powerful images running through your head as you race through it to see what happens. Written by the always wonderful Anne Rice, this book grips you and will change how you percive the world forever.

Summary: FANTASTIC
Review: I really did love this book, from cover to cover -absolutely fantastic! You really feel an empathy, not just with the main character of Lestat, but of the others mentioned throughout the book. I have read all of the Vampire Chronicles, which Anne has presented us with, up to Memnoch - the Devil, and all are very unique, yet they also posess the same qualities of intregue and facsination throughout the tales. My favorite of them all is Mischeivous, Charasmatic, Charming, Caring, yet selfish charcter of the blood-thirsting Vampire Lestat! Who is not so much evil as he is deviant! I would not even wish to spoil such a fantastic book for anyone contemplating on purchasing it - all I can say, is that, I am not a great reader, but this is one book, I read solid for 5 days! I loved it - Well done Anne!

Summary: wasnt the worst, wasnt the best
Review: This book was a fascinating read. Although this wasnt as good as lumley's Necroscope book I found it intriging. And in response to the "A reader , November 19, 1997" who gave it 1 star. he must not seem to like long books with big words. maybe he should stick with the abc book. And also, do everyone a favour and please lay off the caps. ITS ANNOYING AS HELL! if its broken, i'd even pay for a new one. just please lay off your damn caps! 1

Summary: Awesome intrepretation
Review: This is such a great adaptation of the original novel... however I suggest reading the real novel first (the graphic novel got confusing at some points). But if you love vampires, comics and anne rice then this book is for you...

Summary: Best one ive read so far.
Review: Lestat is self absorbed and a little to arrogant at times but a hauntingly beautiful person.his defiance and devil may care attitude leave you with the idea that he is despertly lonely and only wants someone to hold him and tell him that everything will be alright. we wait for him to speak again and take us on another journey into the unbeliveable and the very beliveable through his eyes.

Summary: Exciting and horrible, but also beautiful
Review: I'm actually in the middle of reading this book, but Anne Rice has captured me. With her exciting and terrifying tales of what's beyond our comprehension. The Vampire Lestat is the sequel of Interview with the Vampire and tells the story of the vampire who created Louis, the main character in the previous book. I think This sequel is better than the first one. Because I can see the landscapes and situations described so clearly in my head. My mom can't understand what's so great about vampires. I think the freak her out. Well, there's not really anything great about them. They're disgusting. But at the same fascinating. I just think man will always be fascinated by the supernatural. I sure find these vampires intrigueing. They're not like Buffy's vampires, brainless bloodsuckers. They are intelligent and special. Wondering what they are and why they exist. These books also deals with questions about life and death, Heaven and Hell. I can recommend them very much. I'm gonna have to read the rest of her books too. ***** out of ***** stars. Definitely.

Summary: C'est Magnifique!
Review: This book is great for those who want to put a face to all those beautiful characters we so love! What more is there to say?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Fantastic...It will tear you away from the real world...
Review: If ever there was a more powerful, intruiging book the raters would have to create a sixth star As this is a book that deserves no less than five stars. 'The Vampire Lestat" took me on a mystical journey to realms of imagination I never thought were possible. It is possible to fall in love with a creature of the night.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: ANOTHER GREAT WORK OF LITERARY ART BY ANNE RICE!
Review: As usual Anne has managed to transport me into the world of her vampires. I grew to love Lestat and reading the book is an almost erotic experience. Rice's imagery and personification help make this chapter in the Chronicles one of the best. I HIGHLY recommend this book to all readers with a desire to be entertained.
