Summary: A great follow up to Fear Nothing
Review: Definitely a great follow up to Fear Nothing. As an avid Koontz reader it is nice to see him bring back one of my favorite characters. I am eagerly awaiting a third volume to clear up just a few more questions... Is Bobby really Kahuna, and just what did Sasha do in the past??

Summary: Let's be realistic here...
Review: Okay, I'm a long time reader of Dean's books and I definately think he's on par with King for the horror writer of this century. However, King's biggest talent has always been in his characters, and Koontz's in his visual storytelling. So, after listening to the audio book, I must say that I enjoyed it... but it wasn't without faults. For one thing, Chris Snow is TOO much of a good guy. I get the feeling he's being treated with kid gloves. Just because he has XP doesn't mean he can't act like an asshole sometimes. He needs to get his hands dirty. I'm not talking turning him into an anti-hero, just make him more human. For another, the over-imaginative visuals grate on my nerves. He's taking a paragraph to say something that could fit in one sentence. I understand that Snow is supposed to have an overactive imagination, but a good forty or fifty pages could have been cut out if Dean would get to the point and lose the thousands of extra adjectives. Nonetheless, the story is fun, and not without some tense, scary moments. I look forward to book three.

Review: Just started in this new Dean Koontz saga "Seize the Night (btw..worship the ground he walks on..), and love it to bits, a real page turner...can't wait 'till I have "Fear nothing" in possesion.. BTW..#3 will be called "False memory" and will be released on Dec 28 !!

Summary: Seize this book!
Review: I just finished this on tape. What a great book. I found myself driving extra milage and around the neighborhood just so I could listen longer. I caught myself yelling at the tape deck in my truck when Bobby had his unfortunate accident. I am truly captivated by this series and cannot wait for the next one!

Summary: A BOOK FOR FOOLS
Review: I picked up a copy of this book after a conversation I had with a friend. He was reading off some of Koontz's similes-the few short ones-to prove a point to the woman who was temporarily staying with me, what a lousy novel "Seize the Night", the book she was currently reading, is. This made her upset. So in all fairness, I asked to read her copy after she was done. She got her new place before she was finished, so I picked up a copy at the store. This book is revolting. Not only is the writing at about the 4th grade level, this book was obvioulsy written by a very mean-spirited man. I can only assume that my ex-border is one step away from being a spastic laying in the gutter. And someone had the arrogance to claim Koontz is "our generation's Shakespeare" Get thee an education. By the way, Dickens, Zola and Tolstoy were all very popular authors. I guess you could call Toni Morrison, Don Delillo and Saul Bellow popular authors, too. And the pretentious Mr. Koontz certainly can not hold a pen to any of these writers. This is just another book-of many thousands-that will be forgotten 10 years after the author dies.

Summary: Another excellent book by Dean Koontz!
Review: I have read both Fear Nothing and Seize the Night I was intrigued by the storyline. Dean Koontz always manages to write just beyond reality to make you think about the possibilities. I loved the characters they were very easy to identify with. My only negative on this subject is the extended description in places that tends to let you lose the flow of the story. I have been unable to find information on a third book in this series, if anyone knows if there will be another please email me.

Summary: Better than "Fear Nothing"
Review: The book was definitely more suspenseful than FN and cleared up alot of hanging questions. I would have given a 5 star rating, however, Mr. Koontz spent a great deal of time on tangents which got to be irritating if you expect action. Also, too much time reintroducing characters from FN. Overall, however, a great read and looking forward to #3.

Review: This book and it's precesser "Fear Nothing" is two of the best books I have read to date. The story about Chris, Bobby, Sasha and Orson has been wrighten with superb expertice and if anyone know the title of the third book of the "Moonlight Bay" saga, please send it to my E-mail-adress.

Summary: The trill of a life time, may knock years off your life.
Review: This book is a very well done sequail to the first one. Chis Snow is a great hero, and Orson is mans true best friend. The crew killer is such an interesting add on to the list of character. The Mystory train project was so great they go to hell and back. This book comes highly recommend by me.
