Summary: Keep it up L.J.!
Review: It has been over six years now since I first started reading L.J. Smith, beginning with the Vampire Diaries, and I have ready every book she has done since with the exception of the Dark Visions trilogy. I have greatly enjoyed each of the Night World books, and this one was no exception. There's not much else I can say exceot for the fact that I hope L.J. at least intorduces all the Wild Powers before she finishes, especially since I think I know who is meant by 'One from the hearth which still holds the spark.'

Summary: ANOTHER OF MS. SMITH'S CAPTIVATING SERIES OF DARK LOVE
Review: HORRIFYING , HYPNOTISING , ABSOLUTELY !THE WAY LISA JANE SMITH WRITES IS ... SHEER POETRY ! IF YOU LIKE ANY VAMPIRE/WITCH STORIES YOU'LL ABSOLUTELY ADORE THE " NIGHT WORLD " CHRONICLES .I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WHEN SHE KILLED OFF HUNTER . I WAS WATCHING FOR THE NEXT BOOK TO BE ABOUT HUNTER AND HIS LONG OVER-DUE SOULMATE ! AND I HEARD THAT NIGHT WORLD WAS GOING TO COME TO A FINISH SOON . I SURE HOPE NOT . IT DESERVES TO GO ON AS LONG AS RL STINE'S ANNOYING GOOSEBUMPS TALES .

Summary: A fine example of the talent L.J. Smith has.
Review: I started at the beginning with the Vampire Diaries. Since then, I have lived with Elena, Kaitlyn, Jenny, Cassie and everyone else closer than Elizabeth and Jessica Wakefield. These stories that she (Smith) writes make me feel like I'm in the story one way or another and I think that's the mark of a truly great writer. Black Dawn and the other Night World books are woven well and a sense of belonging overcomes me. I've realized who I am through the characters. Smith writes of real human qualities that we all share. The ones that don't discriminate. I like them all and look forward to all that come.

Summary: Awesome
Review: I highly enjoyed this book although it is not my favorite. My #1 is The Chosen, #2 Daughters of Darkness and Black Dawn is about 3rd on my list! I loved all the characters and thought it was cool how this secret kingdom was added! I was surprised the witches had resigned or whatever from the Night World but that just means the NW is changing more and more! Can`t wait for Witchlight:)

Summary: Another wonderful creation by L.J. Smith!
Review: I thought that it started out kind of slow. But then once it all came together in the end when Hunter Redfern brought them out to be hunted. I thought that it was wonderful how she finally introduced The Maiden after talking about her in some of the other Night World books. If anyone wants to talk more about her books i have much more to say so email me.

Summary: Really Great Book!
Review: I really enjoyed this book, and I think it is an excellent additon to the Night World series. I am really enjoying this Wild Power storyline, and I thought that the Dark Kingdom was really interesting. Maggie and Delos were both well-developed characters. This book was full of compassion and adventure. I suggest it to just about anyone. And by the way, the reader from Washington, it is mentioned in Spellbinder that she is blind, page 198. Get your facts straight.

Summary: I couldn't believe that she wrote this!
Review: I can't believe this book was written by L.J. Smith. With all her other wonderful books in the Night World series, I expected this to top all the others. It took 136 pages just to get to the point of the story. There was too little info about to make the story come together. And never did it mention in Spellbinder that Aradia was blind. Never. This book disappointed me as an avid L.J. Smith reader, but I still can't wait for the next book to come out.

Summary: A Nice Read
Review: One of the better books in the Night World. It ranks right up there, in my opinion, with Soulmate, Daughters of Darkness, and The Chosen. Likewise, Delos is a good character too, worthy of being in the same series with such gems as Ash Redfern, John Quinn and Thierry Descouedres. I was surprised that Hunter Redfern was vaporized, though. Who's to be the new antagonist of the Night World? Without witches and an entire family of lamia milling about without direction, it leaves not many people to fight on the side of Darkness. I think the only serious problem with the Night World series is that there is only one book featuring each set of characters. It's hard to fit the sort of character development in one book that this author used to put in three. I cannot imagine Delos the icicle giving in to Maggie quite as easily as he had. For that matter, if so many of the evil people of this series have hearts of gold underneath, then obviously Hunter Redfern must've really been a boy scout. Shame he went up in a puff of smoke. However, I think this series has a promising theme . . .I wish that Ms. Smith had continued to write in trilogies, this could have been one of her best. The Night World is ready for an ending, and I hope it will finish the series well.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not as good as the others, but one of my fav's.
Review: It's right up there with
Daughters of Darkness, The Chosen and The Huntress.
I Love L.J Smith.the NightWorld series is her best yet.
