Rating: Summary: LILAC Review: I THINK THIS BOOK IS WORTH A FULL 5 STARS. I LOVE IT IT IS A GREAT BOOK ALL SHOULD READ IT. IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ANY L.J.SMITH BOOKS AT LEAST TRY ONE I'M SURE YOU'LL LOVE THEM.
Rating: Summary: Black Dawn is intriging. Review: Black Dawn, like most of Lisa Jane Smith's books, is enjoyable. To get the full affect of Black Dawn you must read the other books in this fascinating series. The Night World books are excellent and I can't wait for the newest one to come out in Spring. Now back to the book. The characters are good, although a slight bit undeveloped. There are a few return characters. Like Hunter Redfurn. And like almost all of Lisa Jane Smith books I have read involves Soul Mates, desperate love, and danger. I would reccomend this, and any other Night world books to Fantasy and Science Fiction lovers.
Rating: Summary: THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST L.J.SMITH BOOKS!!! Review: after i read this book, i could not believe that it was finally over. i have to say that it was a very well written book. i loved it! no offense or anything, but i am kind of glad that there is finally a main character in L.J.Smith's book who is not a blond. i have nothing against blonds, it's just that i kind of got tired of reading about so many blonds in her books. i have to say that L.J.Smith is a very talented author.( i think that the way the back of the book summerizes the story is a little wrong. i mean, when you are reading the back of the book, it kind of gives you the impression that Delos is a bad guy. but once you start read the book, you found out that he is actually a very nice person.) i also like the fact that L.J.Smith always shows the guys in the story as very vulnerable, and the girls as strong, brave, and independent people.
Rating: Summary: One From The Land Of Kings Long Forgotten Review: I really liked Black Dawn. I liked how L. J. Smith created this new world for the characters. It wasn't just a secret from humans-it was a secret from other Night Worlders, too. And I liked how Hunter died...I really didn't like him. Killing Rashel's mother; making Quinn a vampire and turning him against humans; chasing off Rowan, Kestrel, and Jade; having a bloodfeast; and trying to kill his own grandson. Hunter Redfern is the personification of evil. Another thing about the book: Maggie actually used her brains instead of killing to get out of trouble, like Nyala or Jez. It was a really good book.
Rating: Summary: Even better than Daughters of Darkness!!!!!!!! Review: This was my second favorite book in the Night World series. My favorite was The Chosen, but this one came very close. I love how cold Delos is in the beginning. This book was a definite 10!!!!! ~Ondine
Rating: Summary: Fast paced, fun, and enlightening Review: I loved Delos he's cold and sexy and funner than hell. But I really liked Maggie's attitude. No one can make u do anything, they can't make u their prey. Black Dawn is my favorite. I've read it over and over. And as for the consistant plot. Oh well. I enjoy it. No character is the same.
Rating: Summary: Black Dawn is awesome Review: Okie, I love the Night World series. Some people might be wondering why I give this book an 8, well, it's simple: it took me longer to read this book than it did to read Huntress. But its still very good. I recomend it to, well, everyone. You can't help but love Delos, he's funny (I have a weird sence of hurmor), in a hard sorta way. Go get it, you'll be glad you did. If you're tired of the "evil" lable that vampires get, well, the Night World series portrays BOTH sides of these creatures; Delos vs Hunter, James vs Ash, Quinn vs Hunter. So go on, get this book (and Huntress and Witchlight and The Chosen and Secret Vampire and... aww heck, get 'em all)!
Rating: Summary: It was really exciting. I couldn't put it down!! Review: It was the first L. J. Smith book that I read, and now L. J. Smith is my favorite author!!!! Anyone who would like to discuss this book, e-mail me!!!
Rating: Summary: Black Dawn Review: Hello this is Damon from The Secret Circle and Circle Midnight and Mark from the Night World. Let me just say that I loved this book so much that I read it twice in the same night. I loved how Delos was so adamant to give himself to Maggie. You know his cold personality. And I loved how at the end he was so protective and loving of Maggie. The only complaint that I can see is that LJS should have had that final chase seen and should have let Delos blast them all away with his blue fire. Okay you can e-mail me if you want to chat about her books and stuff because I can talk for hours. ~Jessica~
Rating: Summary: This and all books by L.J. are the best! Review: My friend and I have been checking out these books for the last month. I read this one in one night because I coulden't put it down. Sure, the plot doesn't change, but she keeps it interesting through them all. My only problem was that Delos didn't give in sooner.
