Summary: Not up to the quality I'm used to
Review: The storyline was a good premise but it never lived up to its potential. The author did ok with portraying the characters but they didn't seem to come alive as they do in the other novels I've read. It became a chore to finish reading it.

Summary: Unnatural Seletion; Willow Fairy
Review: This book was the second i read from the 'Buffy the vampire slayer' bookseries, and it was what inspired me to continue. I found the beginning, the scene in which Willow discovers baby Tad has been abducted, dragged on a bit, it should have gotten straight to the exciting bit a bit quicker. However the description was impecable and the tension mounting was extremely effective. I particulary felt the way that this book focused on Willow more than Buffy, was a nice turn in events as far as the television show is concerned. This book is good for fans of the character Willow, rather than Buffy. The main problem i felt with this book was, it did not explain things very well when it came to the Spring Blowout. This event, which Cordelia was orginising came as a very important factor in the storyline, and i strongly feel more emphasis on the details of this should have been explained. But the final fight made this all worth while, you can really imagine the cave in which the fairies dwelled and feel the concern Oz had for Willow. A wonderful book and well worth reading.

Summary: Scary Pleasures
Review: This Buffy book has good action, decent plotting, and a steady pace. It has more of a focus on Willow and Zander, but has the rest of the scooby gang involved in the action. The loose ends of the plots seem well tied up, and the villians were scary, which is impressive for small creatures with wings.
I give it two thumbs up.

Summary: Great Read.....
Review: This has been one of the best young adult Buffy books ever. I think the author really captures the overall theme of the show. All of the characters sounded so much like as if it were a new episode on tv. And the plot was really creative. Very different. Although where the kidnapped babies were concerned, it did remind me a little of the episode "Band Candy". Only this book took a new turn and put faeries as the culprits and also took the time to explain the different kinds of faeries. Child of the Hunt also had faeries in it, but I felt through this book (Unnatural Selection),I had a much better understanding. I just didn't get the fact that Xander and Cordy were still together and Buffy and Angel weren't. It's like the events in "Lovers Walk" never happened with Xander and Cordy. But I totally recommend this book to anyone who's a really huge fan of the show. :)It really shines compared to the rest of the YA's in the series.

Summary: A fascinating story that will keep you hooked
Review: This has to be one of the best Buffy original novels yet! I loved everything about it - the plot was interesting and unpredictable, moved at the perfect pace, and, best of all, focused on my favorite character, Willow. I liked the author's style, how he planted little seeds, then harvested them all in a satisfying way. Unlike the last book, Visitors, I didn't get the sense of unfinished business - he did a good job of tying up all the loose ends. So if you want a great read that'll suck you in and leave you wanting more, pick up Unnatural Selection. You won't regret it!

Summary: A Very Good Read! :)
Review: This was the first Buffy book that I read and that book kept me read more. It was like it was responsible for getting me addicted to these books! So if you've never read a Buffy book before, then this is a good book to start with! :)

Summary: Great Book, Loved it..
Review: To be honest, I ordered this book out of boredom... I didn't expect it to be the best of books, but at least I would have something to read... I don't read often, books usually can't hold my interest long enough for me to finish them... I mostly read BTVS Books and Biographies/Autobiographies.

That said, I LOVED this book... Mel Odom is one of my favorite BTVS Authors, he's incredibly talented... This book had my interest from the beginning and I really couldn't put it down. I started reading it and finished it within a little over an hour, the way that the characters were written was very much like they were on the show... Their reactions to things, the way that they each talked... Very much like the 3rd season version of the characters on BTVS.

And I loved the whole Faery story... I don't want to spoil the book for anyone who hasn't read it, which i'll end up doing if I go into it anymore... So i'll just say this if you're a BTVS fan... Read this Book! Even if you haven't read many, or any, of the books and aren't sure if you'd like them.. Read this one.

I really do miss Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I still watch the reruns on FX and on Sunday nights on the WB.
