Summary: I LOVE ALL L.J.'S BOOKS!
Review: If I were to reccommend one book out of every single existing book, it would be one of L.J.'s. Before I found my sisters "stupid" vampire books laying on the computer desk and decided I would just skim through, (yeah, sure) I had never really read a book voluntarily. I wasn't a big reader and basically chose to sit in front of the TV all day. But when I picked up the book to skim through, I went through it a little more closely and then decided that I would just read a few pages. I ended up readind the whole Night World series, (except for Dark Angel) and then the rest of her series. Since then, I read every book I can get my hands on, but L.J's books remain my absolute favorites. I wonder a lot if Strange Fate will EVER come out though...

Witchlight is not about vampires though. It's about the Powers or whatever, like Huntress, and you would probably have to read the other books to understand the plot completely. It has romance and even some horror. Please, do yourself a favor and sit dow to read this AMAZING book!

Summary: It left me wanting more!
Review: This was such a great book! I loved it so much, as i did all the Night World series. I don't know about anyone else, but i've been waiting for 4 years for the 10th book to come out. Does anyone know about it? I really love books like this series, and if anyone wants to talk and compare notes, e-mail me. It's a must read. Enjoy!!

Summary: Forbidden Love
Review: Rashel is a shapeshifter who has the fate of the world in her hands. Literally. She must save a bratty witch, and somehow deal with this whole soulmate issue. She doesn't care that hers is in that bubble brain's hands-does she? It's breaking her heart, yet she knows she must fufill her duty. Bravery doesn't get ya everywhere-and it's proven in this book. But don't worry-it's a happy ending.

Summary: a nice book, but a poor ending to a series
Review: so who is the witch, not a witch, who woke up the dragon? who is the fourth wild power? will the shapeshifters who sceceded with the dragon be wooed back by the first house now that keller and galan's have united with the witch child? what are the consequences of that ANIMAL PANIC for the relationship of the nightworld and the humanworld, which was on the cusp of discovering it at the end of this book? does anyone care anymore? one of the things i liked about the night world series when i was reading it years ago was LJS's attempt to tap into to pre-millenial-anxiety. but of course the millenium has well and truly passed now, both versions, 2000 and 2001. can strange fate even be released now? i really hope that it is because while witchlight is a fine book it's a terribly inconclusive end to a series that a lot of people care about.

Summary: great series! i keep reading again and again!
Review: i love L.J. Smith, she just writes the greatest books. i have re-read her night world series many times. i am just getting worried about the final book in the series ever coming out. ... I just cant wait to read the last book. I am now a sophomore in college and i remember back in my early days of high school when i was just starting to read the Night World series. ...

Summary: I loved this book!
Review: Okay I'll admit I'm a huge fan of L.J. Smith but it's only because she's one of the greatest writers ever. The books are well developed, the charactors although fantasy characters like vampires, shapeshifters, and so on, have a surprisingly realistic feel to them and this book is no exception. I also think this book is one that got the soulmate connection across better than the others. They fought against it so hard. You could tell it wasn't just, oh yeah, they're crushing on one another. It was a great book all the way through.

Summary: strange fate info!!!!!
Review: Okay, first let me say that Witchlight was really awesome. It wasn't as good as Huntress (because that plot was so great), or as The Chosen (because Quinn and Rashel were great fighters), or Daughters of Darkness (because, well.....Ash), but it was sooo worth five stars.

Now here's my Strange Fate news that I'm sure you're all dying to hear: I'm writing this on 9-12-00. Two Saturdays ago, I went to the bookstore and found out that Strange Fate was published only three days before I checked. It's not on the shelves yet, but you can order it at the bookstore chain nearest you. In exactly four more days (it takes 2/3 weeks to ship), I will know who Sarah Strange's soulmate is. I will know who the fourth Wild Power is and what happens. I hope you'll know too with the help of this little note that's totally off the subject of Witchlight. So, get off your computer and run to your car! Order the book! Hurry!

Summary: Poem of Truth
Review: Keller really believed the poem her mom left her and I think a lot of people feel like that, but when Galen wrote a revision to it my heart melted because that version had the truth of life. I would do anything to get Strange Fate

Summary: Looking for the Witch Child
Review: Keller is a shapeshifter that works on one of the most reliable teams for Cirlce Daybreak. When her team is assigned to finding the 3rd Wild Power, who also happens to be the legenday witch child, she shocked to see that she's not what she expected and wants nothing to do with them. Her life giets poured into even more turmoil when she falls for the Witch Child's soulmate. "Love is for the Weak," she always tells her self, but she's finding herself drawn to him each day. This book was a great book and a good improvement to the Night World Series. I wish Strange Fate would come out sometimes soon.
