Rating: Summary: I love L.J. Smith!! Review: This was such an amazing book (just like every other book she's written)..I don't think I can wait till the spring for Strange Fate. I need to know who/what the last wild power is and who set the dragon free. I'm so obsessed! I own every L.J. Smith book there is except Night of the Solstice because it is out of print (If anyone can get me one, it would be much appriciated. I don't give out credit card #s on the net). If you're looking for a book that keeps you reading right through without stopping, this is it. But before reading this book, I recomend reading all the past Night World books because they're all connected (don't worry, you can understand Witchlight perfectly without any background from the other books!). Happy reading!
Rating: Summary: !!!!Best book in the series!!!!! Review: Daughters of Darkness and The Chosen use to be tied as my favorite books in the nightworld series. Now without a doubt Witchlight is my favorite. And for any person who likes the Nightworld books theirs another series called Antia Blake Vampire Hunter that based in a world so much like the Nightworld you wonder if the author got the idea from L.J.Smith. But their is a little cursing. If you want to read more about the book search Amazon for the author Laurell K. Hamilton.
Rating: Summary: Witchlight, by L.J. Smith Review: Buy this book! I really recommend it, not only am I an avid LJ Smith fan, and run my own fan club, this is the BEST book she's ever written. And if you like shapeshifters, romance, strong characters, and darn good fights, then it doesn't hurt to pick it up either!
Rating: Summary: This is so good!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: It's here, and it's wonderful, and I love it! L.J. Smith never ceases to write a story so great and compelling that you can't put it down. This is quite possibly one of her masterpieces. I have read every book by her published to this date, and only the excellent Secret Circle trilogy and Daughters of Darkness from her Night World series surpass this in quality, plot, and style. Keller is a shapeshifter, which is something new, since prior to this all of Smith's Night World heroines had been vampires, witches, or humans. It's very well written and did not disappoint this hard-to-please fan one bit.
Rating: Summary: This Book Was REALLY Good! Review: I love all the books by L. J. Smith, and I especially enjoyed this one. It seems as if they get better all the time, with exception to Daughters of Darkness, one of the first in the series and my personal favorite. Witchlight is probably tied for second with Huntress and Chosen. The story was well worth the wait, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to the next book without going nuts with anticipation. Witchlight was just really good, and I'll leave it at that, because I don't want to spoil it for anybody. ~Sunny
Rating: Summary: Witch Light is FINALLY here! Review: I am giving this book a ten based on my waiting period. I haven't read it but am buying it tonight. I have been waiting for this book since I finished Black Dawn on it's release. I'm definitly going to write a review on this book as soon as I finish it. I know it will please me and L. J. Smith won't let this devoted fan! So like always I really like it when other fans of L. J. Smith's books write me. So fell free to! =)
Rating: Summary: Wonderful as usual Review: This latest story set in the Night World is L.J. Smith at her best. Galen, the hero isn't the usual tough guy. He's kind and sweet without ever being wimpy. Keller and Iliana are amazing characters as well, even if Iliana does start a little ditzy. You (or at least I) can't help but care about the characters and hope that somehow everything works out at the end.The back of the book is slightly misleading - Galen is NOT destined to be the Iliana's soulmate - he's destined to be her husband. As those familiar with the Night World know, that's a big difference. For those who aren't familiar with the Night World this book probably isn't the one to start with. If you don't want to start all with the first book in the series (Secret Vampire), which is also absolutely amazing, you might want to try Huntress (book 7)as that's the book where the concept of Wild Powers and the end of the world is first explained.
Rating: Summary: a really good book Review: This series got off to a slow start but picked up midway with book 2, "Daughters of Darkness" and tapered off with book 7, "Huntress." In December 1997 book 10, "Witchlight" came out and the book gave the feeling that something big was coming. That this was really just the beginning. It's shame we never get to it. We haven't seen a book from L.J. Smith since. It's been almost 5 years and I have feeling we won't be seeing the installment in the series anytime soon. After having to wait this long the momentum is just... GONE. LOST. I advise to read any of her trilogies that start & finish, if you don't want to be left hanging. "Dark Visions," "The Forbidden Game," & "The Secret Circle." Plus the 4 parter "Vampire Diaries."
