Rating: Summary: Yeach Review: The cover was very gruesome to lug around, I just hate covers with two people clinging arm to arm. Not only was the cover pitiful, but the story also. Everything was blunt in a bad way, nothing metaphoric and nothing with meaning. Just another hit and run book.
Rating: Summary: I loved this book! Review: This book is my favorite. It was cool how Hannah tracked Thierry down after she realized that she loved him. I wish that she would have became a vampire.
Rating: Summary: This one was good. Review: I think this is my favourite Night World book. I especially liked the fact that they put Lupe in there. Lupe was so cool! I always would get mad when someone would tell a werewolf joke, because werewolves have always been my favourite. It was great to see a good, accepted werewolf that they didn't kill off the way they killed off Jeremy Lovett. Plus, on the cover I think Thierry looks hot! My friends and I argue alot over who is the hottest Night World guy. For me (as if you care, but I'll just say it anyway), first is Thierry, then Jeremy then Angel, then James, then Quinn, then Miles, then Ash, then Morgead, then Galen, then Rudy, then Delos, then Phil, then Eric and lastly David (sorry to people who like the human guys: I always put humans last, and I'm not saying they're ugly they are FIIINE!) Anyway, another comment on the greatness of this particular book: My friend borrowed to book from my other friend, got hooked on the first page, and kept reading. By the time she was at lunch time that school day, she was in the middle of the book. A very thrilling, very inspiring book. As for the girl's comment about why Hannah could sneak up on Maya, I it was because Maya was startled by not seeing Hannah tied up. ANd it wasn't supposed to be that long of a time, it just seemed that way to Hannah.
Rating: Summary: I LOVE the reappearance of the other characters!!!!! Review: What I like most about this book is that it brings you up to date on the other characters something I was waiting for LJ Smith to do so you know what happened to the characters. She needs to do that again in another book. Also I loved that she finally told me how the vampires came to be because for a while I was rather curious about that. What I found somewhat hard to believe was that Maya had been around for about thirty thosand years just to kill Hannah and get Thierry for herself. Although it does make sense that Thierry would still be alive waiting to be with Hannah again. Something else that struck me as odd after reading the 5th book why when a vampire like Quinn only about 400 years old would be able to sense what is going on around him and Maya, the very first vampire, not sense (or hear for that matter) a simple human with hardly any fighting experience trying to sneak up on her? Please LJ Smith if you ever read this could you in upcoming books tell me what happened to the other characters, after all last time I heard of any of the characters mentioned was briefly in #7 when Jez is talking about Rashel something(Jourdan) and her vampire soulmate Quinn getting her Uncle Bracken and the gang remnants out of San Francisco.
Rating: Summary: This book was oe of my favorite! Review: This book is cool. It is very exciting and filled with romance. It has a very unexpected ending that is satisfying. It was one of Smith's best. If you like this one read Secreat Vampire and Black Dawn.
Rating: Summary: A major disapiontment Review: I cannot belive that L.J.S. wrote this book!!! Theirry is booring, Hannah is lifeless and the plot unrealistic and full of holes. And Maya is more pitiful than evil. Honestly don't you think living for hundreds of thousands of years would give you more reason to live than to simply kill someone else's girlfreind? And wouldn't Theirry notice who is killing Hannah continually and tht it's not his fault? The best part was when there was all the cameos from other books and that was for only a page. I think anyone who read this book first in the sereis who hate it immeadiatly. There are much better books out there.
Rating: Summary: I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!!! Review: This book was wonderful it reunited old characters and had the history of not only NW witches but vampires too. It showed how a lot of the NW worked and it was touching to the very last word. AND ANYONE WHO DOESN"T THINK SO NEEDS A PSYCHIATRIST ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: A wonderful reunion of past and new characters. Review: This book was another one of LJ Smith's greats. It is the first I read in the NightWorld series and it brought back alll the excite her other series had. This book kept you thinking and brought in all the history of how the vampires and others came to exsist. It made me rush out and buy all the other books in the series I only have 4 to go now. I also loved how the book brought back some of the other characters from the previous books. It made everyone in Night World more connected. I can't wait until the next book comes out, but I hope it's not the end. And for all of you who haven't read Smith's other series I highly recomend all of them especially the Vampire Diaries.
Rating: Summary: To tell the truth...... Review: this is not one of my favourite of the Night World series but still very good. I liked the fact that there was a werewolf who helped the 'good people' and was not on the bad side, another nice part of the book is the part where charcters from the pervious books were given a little apperance. Read the Book.
Rating: Summary: Not the best read in the world Review: I was quite disappointed with this book. In all her previous books Ms Smith has made the soulmate principle seem new and exciting, but in this it just seemed dull and like it had been told a thousand times already. Definetly the worst book in the night world series so far.
